Rajasthan Sports Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore made surprise inspection of Umaid Singh Stadium

Jodhpur (Rajasthan), July 11, 2025 (ANI): Rajasthan Sports Cabinet Minister, Rajyavardhan Rathore made a surprise inspection of Maharaja Shri Umaid Singh Stadium in Jodhpur on July 11. He also took stock of the arrangements for accommodation and food for athletes.Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore said, "...The goal was to inspect the sports facilities in Jodhpur, and interact with the athletes and coaches here. I sawa the accommodation at this football academy. The gymnasts here need equipment. After returning to Jaipur, I will tell officers what equipment is needed and what improvements need to be made, and that equipment be arranged at the earliest. Gymnasts are training in the open, they earlier did it in a hall. they will be shifted as per the requirement so that they can train in a hall with equipment and facilities. Regarding football, I will speak with coaches regarding the facilities that can elevate the level of football here...I came to know just now that the entire outer area has elevated because the stadium is older and the water collects outside. We will consult with architects and experts on the matter..."
