00:01We've got a really good group together, boys.

00:03Part of that, boys, is we've named a leadership group

00:06and we've gone with two captains this year.

00:09The first bloke, obviously got to know him a lot by phone

00:14and that over the last three or four weeks, five weeks.

00:17Team first, man.

00:19Never questioned him whether he wanted to play in the league footy.

00:24After talking to a lot of you guys,

00:25I can see absolute love for this bloke.

00:29And that is Jack Reifer, who for the second year of the row will captain.

00:39The next bloke, boys, as I said, joint captains this year.

00:45Rex did it on his own last year.

00:47This bloke, when you talk about respect in country footy or any footy

00:53and that's what you're trying to gain off your peers.

00:56I know when I was finishing my career,

00:58this guy was sort of starting.

01:01You know, I was an old fox at the time,

01:03but I soon saw how respect comes about.

01:07That's just the way that this bloke goes about his footy,

01:10how he's perceived by all you guys in this room.

01:13And I know you guys are really happy to be playing with him

01:16and against him this weekend.

01:30Once again, this bloke, he probably doesn't have to be here.

01:33He's been at the highest level.

01:34He's done it all.

01:36He's come back to Bendigo playing with his local club.

01:40He's got a rich family history of interleague footy,

01:43Bendigo league footy.

01:44And once again, the discussions I've had with this bloke,

01:48he just wants to play and support all you boys.
