00:04there's never enough mormons on dancing stars there's so many of us right now and so i definitely

00:10feel like it's going to bring an interesting storyline into season 34. why do you think that

00:14is because so many i feel like so many ballroom dancers come from utah have a mormon background

00:19a little bit is it just something that like you that is just in the culture there everyone in utah

00:24has a thing okay my thing was dance okay my neighbor's thing was piano like every kid had

00:29like a sport and activity so for for a lot of the dance was huge and the dance culture in utah is

00:36really big too okay especially with ballroom it was really brought into um byu as a way for men to treat

00:43women very interesting right and then they then introduced it to high schools and i feel like that

00:49trinkled down into like literally society so you have so many dance studios now teaching ballroom

00:54and all these different kinds of styles but it's a very vibrant dance community in utah yeah i think

00:59that's so interesting that it's that i love that that's so great and good tv too and good great tv are

01:05you obsessed with mormon wives i am more than i'd like to admit i watched the first season i watched with

01:11my friend alexis and we're both from utah and uh we we were just glued i loved it so much and it's nice

01:18to watch something i'm like yeah it reminds me of home it doesn't remind you of home yeah unfortunately

01:24would you feel like it how do you feel like it represents the mormon culture i'm sure so many

01:29people have opinions because those moms are bad utah moms are bad

01:34especially the moms i dealt with because i grew up in a dance studio i literally spent 24 hours of my

01:39day at a dance studio so the moms i was around were dance moms okay and if there's one thing you don't

01:45with is their money and their kids so i got to see i got to see a lot of interesting personalities

01:50growing up so i loved getting to see kind of similar characters but on a tv show yeah what was it like

01:55filming this upcoming season then with them it was very short i danced with jen i didn't i didn't know

02:00like in the season in season two how like she left i didn't know that's really i didn't know any of it

02:05so i just taught her she was fully pregnant okay her little salsa she crushed it i love it and she

02:11opened up about her experience leaving um utah and coming back and um obviously won't get into

02:16that now but yeah i really enjoyed my time with her i think that's so great do you think that they're

02:20added a bit of an advantage i mean obviously they're tick tock dancing it's very different

02:25than ballroom dancing but what do you feel like they have kind of a one-up there is an advantage

02:29there anyone with any kind of dance experience will have a leg up because you'll have someone who's

02:34literally never even stepped touched before and that's like what most basic thing you can do yeah so

02:40you're working from the ground up for but for them they kind of have good sense of rhythm and

02:44you see in their tick tocks they're doing their thing they're they can sense that they have a

02:48little bit of dance ability they can understand rhythm they can understand timing so they definitely

02:52have a leg up and these girls are cutthroat they are cutthroat and they know how to tick tock and

02:57that's really big for me so yes i feel like this is the first time we've ever had two people from the

03:02same show on the same season too if i'm not mistaken so what do you think about that i think it's very

03:08interesting and um i don't know i i'm curious to see how it will unfold yeah because we never really

03:15know why they'll have them we can have our speculation but we always know the reason when

03:20when the season's done so we'll see how it unfolds
