00:49The World No. 3 pair, whose contract with BAM ended in December last year,

00:55finally agreed to the New Deal after months of negotiations for better perks

00:59incentives and salaries.

01:01The pair and BAM President Tunku Datuk Sri Zafrul Abdul Aziz made the announcement in a press conference

01:08soon after both parties inked the agreement.

01:11Perlitan will be evaluated based on key performance indicators and any additional incentives will depend on their results.

01:21They will take part in back-to-back tournaments this month, starting with the Japan Open from July 15th to 20th,

01:27followed by the China Open and the World Championships in Paris.

01:31Reports said that the pair had agreed to remain with the national team, despite their original demands not being fully met.

01:38It is believed that they had initially requested a salary of over one million ringgit, but BAM remained firm during negotiations.
