Women’s doubles shuttlers Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah continued their fiery form by smashing into the Malaysia Masters semi-finals.  Pearly-Thinaah, who captured the Thailand Open title last week, needed only 34 minutes to oust Indonesia’s Febriana Kusuma-Amallia Cahaya 21-14, 21-14 at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil on Friday (May 23) much to the delight of the passionate home fans. 00:51Can you share your form?

00:54Yeah, I think as I already said before, after I won that day, everything starts from zero and the Champions is already the past.

01:03We just start from zero and take one step at the time and we hope to give our best for tomorrow's match.

01:09Two years ago you guys were in the final, but unfortunately two years ago you were in the final, but unfortunately you lost.

01:18So how big of a motivation to get back into the final?

01:24I think it's just that every player here doesn't want to lose.

01:28So I think that we want to just leave that in the past.

01:31For now we want to focus on getting proper rest and also discussing with each other and the coaches for tomorrow's match.

01:45Yeah, as usual, we want to stay firm on our gameplay and discuss with coaches that we will discuss more on the court and be more confident.

01:57Physically, how are you feeling about playing back-to-back tournaments so far, how are you feeling?

02:06I think I'm feeling more excited because it's a home-ground tournament.

02:10So we hope to keep this excitement for Tung Rho Smash as well.

02:14What are your thoughts on your opponents, Chinese opponents, like their strengths and what we all feel we all need to do to overcome?

02:22I think as usual, we more focus on our own gameplay.

02:26We just want to stay firm and be more confident on our own gameplay.

02:31Yeah, of course we always motivated and with the home-grounds we are more excited and more excited to play more.
