Les supporters du Pays de Galles venus en nombre (1 800) ont eu droit à un moment inoubliable avec le premier but de l'histoire dans un tournoi majeur, mais cela n'a pas empêché une lourde défaite face à la France (4-1).

00:05But just how did that feel and maybe just how proud are you of the 23 and of the Red Bull?

00:11I mean, I think today we played more like ourselves.

00:14I think we showed fight from the beginning to the end.

00:16We played some really good football.

00:17We were brave on the ball and I think, like for us, that's what we wanted.

00:21We learnt off of the first game, kind of the occasion was a big thing for us

00:25and I think we almost let it get the better of us in that first game.

00:27I think we just showed a bit more bravery and a bit more of us, like I said.

00:30And to play in front of that Red Bull is something special

00:32and something that you can't quite put into words.

00:36I'm just so proud to have put that shirt on today and been able to play in front of them.

00:41For performance-wise, one thing that we wanted is to come out

00:45and put a Cymru performance on with a grit and fight.

00:48And that's something that we said at the beginning of the day game

00:50is to go out there with some grit and fight and just be us.

00:54And I think that we did it.

00:56You know, France are a phenomenal team and they're strong and they're quick

00:59and, you know, they found pockets.

01:02But, you know, we held them for long periods of the time and we got a goal.

01:06Yeah, I think we have to be realistic.

01:08Look, we've come up against a very good French team,

01:10but I think for large periods of that game we caused them issues.

01:13We defended really well.

01:15Of course, they get the penalty and it kind of changes the game.

01:17But before that, especially first half, we were, I think we rattled them.

01:22We were in their faces and then when we got the ball,

01:24we were hitting the channel ball into Fion, which was really successful for us.
