In the early 2000s, a comet crossed Spain.  That shooting star brought us a cast of characters no one ever took seriously, yet they burst onto the covers and stages of the most talked-about shows of the time. At the heart of it all was Tamara (Ingrid García-Jonsson), a true superstar who never changed to fit in. Always by her side was her mother, Margarita Seisdedos (Rocío Ibáñez), as they made their way through the most controversial TV programs of the era. Orbiting around them were other equally unclassifiable figures: Leonardo Dantés (Secun de la Rosa), Loly Álvarez (Natalia de Molina), Paco Porras (David Areces), and Arlequín (Julián Villagrán). Together, they formed a bizarre and unforgettable media constellation.  Created by Nacho Vigalondo and produced by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi. Superstar premieres July 18, only on Netflix.
