GuruPournami celebrations were held grandly at the Sai Baba temple in Madhapur. Special prayers are being performed for Sai Baba. Food distribution was also organized in the afternoon. Temple administrators Kittu Yadav said that Guru Pournami celebrations will be held grandly every year. మాదాపూర్ లోని సాయిబాబా ఆలయంలో గురు పౌర్ణమి వేడుకలు ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. సాయి బాబాకు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. మధ్యాహ్నం అన్నదానం కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ప్రతి సంవత్సరం గురు పౌర్ణమి వేడుకలు ఘనంగా నిర్వహిస్తామని ఆలయ నిర్వాహకులు కిట్టు యాదవ్ చెప్పారు. గురు పౌర్ణమి అనేది హిందూ, బౌద్ధ, జైన సంప్రదాయాల్లో ఎంతో పవిత్రమైన పండుగ. ఇది గురువులకు అంటే విద్య, జ్ఞానం, ఆధ్యాత్మికతను నేర్పిన గురువులకి గౌరవంగా జరుపుకునే రోజు అని అర్థం. గురు అంటే జ్ఞానం నేర్పించే ఉపాధ్యాయుడు, ఆధ్యాత్మిక మార్గదర్శి అని అర్థం వస్తుంది. ఇక పౌర్ణమి అంటే నెలలో వచ్చే పూర్ణచంద్రుడి రోజు. మొత్తంగా గురు పౌర్ణమిని గురువును స్మరించే పౌర్ణమి అనే అర్థం. #Gurupournami #saibaba #madhapur
