During a press briefing on Wednesday, Kerrville Police Department Sergeant Jonathan Lamb was asked about the number of people who remain missing following extreme flash floods in Kerr County, Texas.

00:00Sergeant, ma'am, yesterday the governor's office said there were 161 missing.

00:03Is that a Kerr County number or is that a roll-up number?

00:07Where are we at with the number of missing?

00:10It's my understanding that the number that the governor referred to was a Kerr County number.

00:17And again, I have no reason to doubt that number and it was compiled from the best available information.

00:23But we are asking folks to make sure that the numbers that we have are accurate.

00:28So if somebody has been reported missing and they have now been accounted for,

00:33please let us know that so we can revise those numbers and make sure that they continue to be accurate.
