00:00Good afternoon, it's Wednesday the 9th of July 2025 and here are the latest transfer headlines from across Yorkshire.

00:06So we'll start with Leeds United and the Whites have again been linked with Aston Villa's Emi Buendia.

00:10He's of course the player that the club looked at last summer.

00:13Angus Kinnear, Leeds' former CEO, said that Leeds did look into signing him,

00:17only to find that Buendia was unwilling to drop back into the Championship.

00:20The Championship is obviously a place that he thrived under Daniel Fark at Norwich City,

00:24did well in the Premier League for the Canaries too,

00:26has been on Aston Villa's books since 2021 and a report has claimed that Leeds are looking at a loan deal featuring a buy option.

00:34And over at Sheffield United, Rian Brewster is said to be unlikely to sign a new contract at Bramall Lane.

00:39He's technically now a free agent and it has been claimed that his future may not be in South Yorkshire.

00:45A variety of clubs have been linked including Sunderland and West Brom.

00:49And over on the blue side of the Steel City and Josh Windass reportedly has a host of admirers

00:54amid uncertainty over his future at Hillsborough.

00:57Wrexham, Rangers, Coventry City, Derby County and Norwich City have all been credited with interest in him.

01:04And Sky Sports have claimed that Everton are among the many clubs interested in Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney.

01:09He's fresh from representing England under-21s at the under-21s Euros,

01:13has been linked with a clutch of clubs in the Premier League and Everton are set to be among them.

01:18And a new signing at Huddersfield Town has been a really busy summer for the Terriers so far.

01:22They've completed a permanent deal for Preston North End centre-back Jack Watmore.
