01:00I'm Steve McBee. I'm the owner of McBee Farm and Cattle Company in Gallatin, Missouri.
01:05This is honestly as good as I've seen our fields look.
01:07I don't want to get too optimistic, but combined, that's $27 million in crop grain we could have this year.
01:13That could be so huge, dude.
01:15We came from nothing. We were dirt poor. I mean, the whole family.
01:18The same room. And all I ever wanted was to own my own farm that somebody cannot take away from my boys and I.
01:26I thought, man, I want to have at least 1,000 acres to give all the boys.
01:31That's good dirt. That's a perfect planted cornfield.
01:35We farm 40,000 acres. We run a couple thousand head of cattle at any given time.
01:40We're on our way to being a billion-dollar company with a B.
01:44But we have more enemies than I could name. I mean, everybody knows the McBees.
01:49People have tried to take everything from us.
01:56They stole $100,000 worth of stuff.
01:59I got randomly selected for the most intense government inspection you could have.
02:03Somebody stole my hitch.
02:05What?
02:08I am just so fortunate and blessed to have four boys.
02:13They all live on the ranch and they all have their own houses.
02:16It took years and years of hard work, blood, tears.
02:21This is something that we will never give up on.
02:24They would have to remove us from this land to take us out.
02:29There's a thin line between love and hate and there's a thin line between success and failure.
02:34I've told them many times they can spend their life building someone else's dreams
02:38or they can work for their self and build their own dreams.
02:40We're just burning this field right here.
03:03Can you guess who we're still waiting on?
03:05We told him 1045 over here.
03:07You guys don't have this done yet?
03:12Oh, he's finally here.
03:13Oh, yeah.
03:14I don't want to hear your face.
03:16This is why you don't take brother to help you out.
03:17All right.
03:18Jesse, Jake, you guys want to throw all the backpack blowers?
03:21Yep.
03:21Cole, you want to handle the propane torch?
03:24Whenever we're in the full swing of planting season, we have to, you know, make sure all the fields are ready to go.
03:30There we go.
03:31Let's go.
03:31You go and you light it on fire and that wind takes it and it burns it pretty freaking fast.
03:38It cleans up the field.
03:39It's just a nice burnt field to go in and plant into.
03:43It's going to burn a little better than I thought it was going to burn.
03:46It's pretty hot.
03:46Here, yeah, that fire has no chance of crossing there.
03:49I'm a little worried about this right here.
03:50What?
03:51The wind's going straight south.
03:54We need the blower.
03:55Cole, grab the tractor.
03:56Bring it over here.
03:57Jess, run.
03:58Like as fast as possible.
04:00Oh, shit.
04:09Steven!
04:11Oh, shit.
04:12If he gets into that field, it's going to keep going.
04:14God damn.
04:18Dude, it changed 180 degrees.
04:21Come on, Steven!
04:23You can do everything right with a fire.
04:26Hey, bring the fucking thing back up here.
04:28Shit.
04:28Oh, shit.
04:30And it still goes to hell in a handbasket.
04:34That's hot.
04:46Morning, morning.
04:47How are you, bossy-poo?
04:48Sorry.
04:49I was wore out.
04:50I meant I was going to be here early to help you, but...
04:53We know you're always late.
04:55I had Steven in here this morning and Brayden helping me this morning.
04:58Brayden was here that early?
04:59Yeah.
04:59Across the board, we have 250 employees working their ass off every single day.
05:05What's up, buddy?
05:05How you doing?
05:06Killing it out there, man.
05:07I'm good.
05:08You guys are rocking.
05:09Yep.
05:09And all the boys work here at the ranch.
05:12They all want to prove to me that they can do better than their brother and or that I did.
05:18What's up?
05:19Did you use all the almond milk?
05:20I did last night on my protein shake.
05:22Dang it, I need a protein shake this morning.
05:24And it's great to have that competitive spirit and that drive.
05:27Someday, one of the boys is going to have to take over the farm.
05:30I'm just not sure who that's going to be.
05:32This pretty boy.
05:33Oh, boy.
05:33He had to do his hair first before he came to the meeting.
05:35I saw his hair flow.
05:38I'm actually jealous of it.
05:39I'm not going to lie.
05:41I know you guys aren't going to believe this.
05:43We're waiting on Cole.
05:44Imagine that.
05:45Cole's the last one here.
05:47He was us, sir.
05:47He just left us out.
05:49Well, is he here?
05:52Oh, wow.
05:53I'd say Cole is probably my favorite brother to work with, but he's always late.
06:03Unfortunately, I have to see Cole's ugly mug pretty much every day.
06:06All right.
06:07We'll dive right into the meeting.
06:08We are absolutely rolling, killing the acres, just knocking them out.
06:13I know you guys have been driving at home, working late, long hours.
06:17So that does not go unnoticed.
06:19We very much appreciate that.
06:20But to say our life is on the line this year wouldn't say enough.
06:25Something about farming and ranching, it's always a financial struggle.
06:30It's not only dangerous, but the last couple planting seasons have been so bad, battling
06:35Mother Nature, getting massive floods or a drought.
06:38We just ended up with littler, very low yields.
06:42So, yeah, kind of the progress.
06:44We're like 67% on soybeans, 72% on corn acres, 89% on burned down acres.
06:52Planting season is one of, if not the most stressful times of the year for me.
06:55This was as of 7 a.m.
06:57This was as of yesterday morning.
06:59Steven is, one word, driven.
07:02He was number one in his NBA class.
07:04He wants to outdo dad.
07:05Steven definitely thinks a lot of himself.
07:08He's like the smartest guy I know, 4.2 student, you know, whatever you want to say.
07:13But you put him in a piece of equipment, and I'm scared.
07:15Let's finish this planting season with no injuries, no accidents.
07:20So after you sign the sheet, Tessa's got breakfast all ready to roll.
07:23It's hot and ready.
07:24Here's what we got going on, fellas.
07:26Holy smokes.
07:27And you ought to sniff that, honey.
07:29Oh, shit cures, what else?
07:31Just standing beside it.
07:33Everybody's doing okay?
07:34Anybody need anything?
07:35I got orange juice, coffee.
07:38No, you cannot have vodka in it.
07:41You're working.
07:45What's the plan here?
07:46What we got going on?
07:47We're just burning this field right here.
07:49Anything with fire is dangerous.
07:52It gets scary at times.
07:53He's going to have to hit a double pass on this if this is how it's going to be.
07:56You can be as prepared as you want to be, but the wind changes, and it's chaos after that.
08:01That's not good.
08:02That ain't good.
08:02If we're not able to control this fire, it can burn thousands and thousands of acres, burn down fences, burn down people's houses.
08:09It's very intense, and somebody can get hurt.
08:15Okay.
08:16Which number are you at, or which letter?
08:19One L.
08:20We are pulling up.
08:21Already, bye.
08:22All right, bye.
08:23You ain't going to move, are you?
08:25Maybe Cal can hop in the back seat.
08:26Gallatin, Missouri, population 1,700.
08:29If you get on a dating app and you expand that radius out 100, 150 miles, there are no dating pools around here.
08:37So I usually have to go down to Kansas City, go to Nashville, or get on Instagram just to find women that I may be interested in.
08:45Or a dating show.
08:46Oh, my baby!
08:52Hi!
08:53Oh, hey.
08:55Hi.
08:55How are you?
08:56I'm good.
08:58Good to see you.
09:01Cal and I met on a dating show called Joe Millionaire.
09:04She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.
09:07She's an incredible person, absolutely gorgeous.
09:09But we learned very quickly that being on a TV show is completely different than actually dating in real life.
09:16We're on Steven time.
09:17He acts like nobody else has a life other than him.
09:19The world revolves around him.
09:21I'm kind of excited to be at the farm today.
09:23Nice weather.
09:25I don't know if I would go that far to say I miss it.
09:29I'm definitely more of a city girl.
09:31Honestly, there's not a lot to do up here to have fun.
09:36The Wi-Fi doesn't work the majority of the time, so no TV.
09:40I think there's a gas station and a subway.
09:43You've never fished?
09:44I have fished.
09:45All you do is bait it, reel it up, crank it, and then you jerk it.
09:55Right?
09:55I don't know what type of fishing you were doing.
09:56I don't know what type of fishing you were doing.
10:06Can you guess who we're still waiting on?
10:10We told him 10.45 over here.
10:17Yo, I'm headed your way.
10:19You're headed our way?
10:20Yes, sir.
10:21Do you guys have a propane torch?
10:22We got everything except for you.
10:24Well, you're going to have my ass here in about 15 minutes.
10:2715 minutes?
10:28That means you're still...
10:29I was a little tied up.
10:30All right.
10:31Well, we'll be here baking in the sun with no AC.
10:33You guys can use the sun tan anyways.
10:35It's a little pasty.
10:37All right.
10:37We'll be here.
10:41Shoot.
10:41One, two, two.
10:43Take it.
10:43Oh!
10:46Steve!
10:48Oh!
10:50We're going to be doing this in the hottest part of the day at this race.
10:53Yeah.
10:53So I just really wanted to get it done in the morning.
10:55Steven always insists that he wants to help, but field work is not Steven's work.
11:00He shows up, and it's just like a tornado goes through, and then he leaves early.
11:03It makes you deal with it.
11:04Do you guys not have this done yet?
11:06Oh, he's finally here.
11:07Oh, yeah.
11:08I don't want to hear your bullshit.
11:10Just want you to take brother to help you out.
11:11All right.
11:12Jesse, Jake, you guys want to throw all the backpack blowers?
11:15Yep.
11:15Cole, you want to handle the propane torch?
11:17Which one of these was empty?
11:18I thought that was...
11:18What are you doing?
11:20I'm going to direct.
11:21No, I did the disking.
11:23You do the propane.
11:24That's what we talked about.
11:24Yeah.
11:25Yeah.
11:25Yeah.
11:33Thanks, guys.
11:35Appreciate that.
11:38Controlled burns.
11:39We like to call them uncontrolled controlled burns.
11:42No matter how many precautions you take, there are so many things you really cannot control.
11:48What are you doing?
11:50Hang on.
11:51It's not one to like.
11:52It's on, ain't it?
11:53I think it's on, baby.
11:54It's on.
11:55No, it's definitely not on.
11:56No, it's not.
11:56It's not one to like.
11:57I wouldn't look down it.
12:01There it is.
12:02Let's go.
12:05Is this flammable?
12:06It'll burn for sure.
12:08This is going to be a slow burn because the wind isn't blowing, which is good.
12:11Yeah.
12:11Pretty hot.
12:12Maybe we should just go ahead and turn these off and save fuel.
12:15I know.
12:15I was thinking that.
12:16Oh, yeah.
12:16Down here, yeah.
12:17That fire has no chance of crossing there.
12:19All right.
12:19Knock on wood, at least.
12:20Yeah.
12:21We've said that's cool.
12:22At least Jesse, and then we'll be able to control it.
12:27I'm a little worried about this right here.
12:30What?
12:31The wind's going straight south.
12:33Oh, shit.
12:33Hey, you guys better hurry up here.
12:36I would probably hurry.
12:37What?
12:38We need the blowers.
12:40It went from straight north to straight south.
12:42Cole, grab the tractor.
12:43Bring it over here.
12:44Jess, run.
12:46Like, as fast as possible.
12:48Oh, shit.
12:48If he gets into that field, it's going to keep going.
12:51Shit.
12:52You can do everything right with a fire, and it still goes to hell in a handbasket.
12:58Dude, it changed 180 degrees.
13:00Come on.
13:01Steven.
13:02Come on.
13:02Hey, bring the fucking thing back up here.
13:04Shit.
13:05That's hot.
13:12Oh, shit.
13:13If he gets into that field, it's going to keep going.
13:15Man, wind did 180 degrees switch on us up here, and we're going straight south.
13:20Steven.
13:21Let me get on the trail.
13:23Get this.
13:25Steven.
13:25Hey, bring the fucking thing back up here.
13:30What are you doing?
13:32Oh, shit.
13:33You're not doing nothing.
13:34All right.
13:34Come on.
13:35It's going that way now.
13:36What?
13:37Wind switch.
13:39I'll get on the trail.
13:40You get that.
13:42Oh.
13:43God damn.
13:45Oh, fuck.
13:47Man, I always fucking...
13:48I fucking hate fires.
13:50Why do we keep doing this?
13:51The necessary evil.
13:53Oh, man.
14:01Steven thinks he can run the farm better than me.
14:03He's so certain that he's going to be one that takes it over, and he's going to be one that runs it.
14:07I don't think Steven has what it takes to run the farm.
14:09You know, he can do all the office work, but when the day comes and one of us has to take over the farm, I'm pretty confident that my dad knows it's me.
14:21That was a shit show.
14:22Why would you not let me go down the trail when you get done?
14:29I can't back in there.
14:29I didn't see the spot.
14:31Because you were going too fast.
14:32Instead of blowing it out, you're blowing it up in the air.
14:35Whenever I could just drive down this nice row I already have, and you could have put the one spot out.
14:39Right there, I was trying to stomp it, dude, and there was no stompin' it out.
14:42That wasn't easy to put out with a leaf blower, either.
14:46Shit.
14:47I should have stayed in the office.
14:49Yeah.
14:52Well, I'll bring, like, more guys, too, than two if I need to.
15:00I mean, you want me to bring, like, four guys to help knock it out?
15:03I feel like I got burned.
15:04From what?
15:05Uh, jumping in there?
15:06You ain't do nothing.
15:08Thanks, Spencer.
15:08I appreciate it, brother.
15:10You bet.
15:11All right, we'll see you.
15:11Bye.
15:12What's happening?
15:13Oh, just finished up the burn.
15:15Could have gone bad.
15:15We were about 10 to 15 feet away from not being able to stop it.
15:19What?
15:20Wow.
15:21Yeah, we were probably a few minutes away from calling the fire.
15:22So, we got it under control.
15:24So, here's exactly what happened.
15:25Okay.
15:26We started the south end of the back burn, and then the back burn, we thought, burnt out.
15:31So, Cole and I went to the north end, and we lit it, but then it turned into a south wind,
15:35so then the back burn reversed direction, and then what I lit on the north end took off to
15:39the north.
15:39Across the tree line, into the tree line, into the other field.
15:42So, then you were fighting two fires.
15:44Yeah, two fires, and they were both going.
15:45And neither of them were controlled.
15:47No.
15:48Oh, shit.
15:49If it gets into that field, it's going to keep going.
15:51Hey, you guys are hurry up there.
15:54You guys have had a disastrous year with burns.
15:56Stephen.
15:57I was about to say, all of our burns that we've done with just us and Jake, great.
16:00Yeah, me, Jesse, and Jake, we're fine.
16:03We had to wait on him.
16:04He was, like, at least 45 minutes late.
16:06You guys could have started without me.
16:08No, you told us to wait on you.
16:09You told us to wait.
16:10Mm-hmm.
16:11Stephen was freaking out there for a minute, wasn't he?
16:13I thought it was just going to be, like, a quick after-lunch fire deal.
16:17It would have been before lunch if you would have showed up on time.
16:20It wasn't our fault.
16:22It's never your fault.
16:24It started with you being dumb.
16:27Well, if the wind wouldn't change directions.
16:28You mean if Mother Nature would do what you expected to do?
16:32Actually, we took our time on this one.
16:33I think you lit it a little fast.
16:35We're about out of insurance claims, just so you guys know.
16:38So maybe put a little thought into that before you risk something.
16:44Everyone is good at what they do every day, right?
16:46If I put Cole in here doing this paperwork, what would he do?
16:49It'd suck.
16:50So how can you expect me to be doing all this shit every day and then go out there to the
16:53field and be good at what I do?
16:54Because you grew up doing it.
16:55It's like muscle, like atrophies.
16:58It shrinks whenever you don't use it.
16:59I might not know how to run a tractor, but I know how to work a computer.
17:02Man.
17:03Aren't you a fool?
17:06Look at that spreadsheet boy over here.
17:16How's it going?
17:18You guys killing it?
17:20Killing it?
17:22Did you email me that list that you were working on?
17:25Okay, perfect.
17:27Hey, hey.
17:28Hey, how are you?
17:29Not ready to get together?
17:30Yes.
17:31All right.
17:32This is the checklist.
17:35So we're pretty much done with the first half of it.
17:39The presentation that we're putting together.
17:41Yes.
17:42Financially, the last couple of years have been so hard and such a struggle.
17:46The amount of debt on the farm and ranch is just about astronomical.
17:49So we started McBee's Coffee and Car Wash, something that had consistent cash flow and margins,
17:55you know, mitigate our risk to the farm.
17:57The thing is, anytime you open a car wash, it's a very, very substantial loan and it's cost me a lot of money.
18:04I had to collateralize all of the equity out of the farm.
18:07This is the blue sky page that we've talked about.
18:10Okay, this is the additional revenue stream?
18:11Yes.
18:12Looks good.
18:13Right now, we're $50 million in debt with the car washes.
18:17So we literally bet the farm on it.
18:22You're going to send this stuff to Greg Sunday evening so he can review it prior to sending it to New York?
18:27Yes.
18:27Galena is our CFO and she's been working with a hedge fund out of New York on a capital investment of $105 million and frankly, we need it.
18:41Currently, we have already 15 lots.
18:43We want to grow it to a minimum of 100 over the next five years.
18:47You've been self-funding it.
18:48At some point, you'll need outside capital.
18:52What about your family?
18:54If this doesn't go well, are you guys screwed?
18:57Oh, for sure.
18:59I mean, you know, the thing is, everything is cross-collateralized.
19:03If we don't, you know, land that capital and move forward in the next six months to 12 months, we could lose literally everything.
19:13I know you understand the depth of what we have riding on this.
19:17That's why you and I make such a good team.
19:19You handle pressure better than anybody I've ever seen.
19:22That's why you own 10% of this company.
19:24You've set the systems up.
19:25You've put that in place.
19:27You know I sincerely mean that.
19:29Galena is one of the hardest-working, brightest women I know and has helped transform our company over the last six years into what it is today.
19:38Dreams do come true.
19:40I mean, Galena's from the Sylvia Union.
19:42That's where she's from.
19:43While I was in Russia, I met a man.
19:45He ended up moving me to the United States through a fiancé visa, commonly known as mail-order bride.
19:54You take somebody that just came from nothing, I mean, it's amazing.
20:00I've never in my life thought that I would be where I am today.
20:06Having a daughter running a company, I have to pinch myself so many times.
20:11I'm like, did I really do that?
20:14I need a Moscow mule.
20:16I need my glass of wine.
20:17Yes.
20:17Well, let's go get a drink.
20:18Yes, sir.
20:19You ready?
20:19Let's do it.
20:20Yes.
20:20Good morning.
20:37You want some coffee?
20:38It's breakfast.
20:39You want some coffee?
20:55Sure.
20:56I have the sugar-free one that you like.
20:58I'm not sure.
21:00Okay.
21:01Oh.
21:09All right.
21:16So when did your relationship with Galena go from strictly professional to personal?
21:23Okay.
21:24Boy, it's going to get personal.
21:26I mean, if I'm just going to be brutally honest, like, we probably had sex a month after we met.
21:35How much detail you want?
21:37What's up, handsome?
21:43Did you sleep good?
21:44I know it was a little hot last night because of me.
21:48I guess if you're asking, am I dating Galena?
21:51I guess the answer is yes, because she lives at my house.
21:53I mean, I've told her multiple times that I do not want to be in a committed relationship with anybody.
22:00Galena, you want a omelet?
22:01Yes, sir.
22:03Can you add someone in it?
22:04I was married for 28 years, and we got divorced a year and a half ago.
22:11She has a house in town.
22:13She sees the boys all the time, and I'll love her every day as the mother of my boys.
22:18But not being able to keep the family together is definitely my biggest regret in life.
22:24There you go, Pugs.
22:26Have at it.
22:28When the boys were young, we were like the perfect family.
22:32Galena, this is ready.
22:34I made some mistakes, obviously, but, yeah, I'm not going to be married again.
22:38And so, you know, call that self-punishment, whatever you want to call it.
22:45It's probably not fair to whoever's in my life, but I'm not doing it.
22:51You like it?
22:52I love it.
22:53Go ahead.
22:54Steve does not like me to sleep over his house more than two to three times a week.
23:01He is very particular about it in terms of our personal relationship.
23:09He was so clear about he needs his space, like, millions of times, but...
23:15I have my own on the rolls.
23:20All right, have a good night.
23:21All right, I'll call you.
23:21Okay, bye.
23:35You're all right.
23:36The A-team's here.
23:40I plant more acres by noon than you spray in a whole day.
23:43If you take coal out of the equation, yeah, we've been doing great.
23:51Oh, yeah.
23:53We do cookouts with our farmhands probably at least once a month.
23:58What's up, buddy?
23:59Doing all right?
23:59How are you doing?
24:00I'm well, I'm well.
24:01I just think it means a lot to the morale and to let them know how much we care about them.
24:07There's one thing you said that I will never forget.
24:09It's, if you're here for a paycheck, go the fuck away.
24:14If you're here to farm, farm.
24:15That's right.
24:16No?
24:16Hey.
24:17I'm not here for a paycheck.
24:20Guys are going to have to volleyball.
24:21All the girls are going to go to the doctor.
24:23You can do it.
24:24I want to see some guys do some sets before I pick my team.
24:27I mean, Galena's probably the top pro of this.
24:31I'm kidding on my team.
24:33I'm going to spike it on her head.
24:36How's Steven been for all this?
24:37Is he liking this or no?
24:40Things have been good.
24:41Things have been positive.
24:43We know that we love each other, so I don't know.
24:47We're just, yeah, we're trying to make it work.
24:49We'll see what happens.
24:51It's been really good, though.
24:52I wonder what they're talking about.
24:55I think.
24:56Any titles.
24:57Are you guys?
24:57See, I, like, he's, like, so weird about that.
25:01Like, he does say, like, yes, we're exclusive, but I just.
25:05The longer they talk, the more trouble we're going to be in.
25:08Oh, shit.
25:09That cow is going in.
25:10I can tell.
25:10She's, like, yelling.
25:11Yeah.
25:12Dude, she's, like, doing that lean forward and that, like, that.
25:16I've always looked at and made fun of those people that couldn't hold a relationship
25:19or they'd break up, get back together, break up, get back together.
25:23So now that I find myself in one of these on-again, off-again things,
25:29I don't want to put a title on it.
25:32I don't want to make it public.
25:34Let's figure this out.
25:35And once we feel really solid about things, then I'll move forward.
25:39There's no everybody's a winner here.
25:41Somebody's got to lose.
25:42And it's not going to be our team.
25:44Is it just me or do you guys think, like,
25:46Kurniel's looks like Maverick on Top Gun out there playing sand volleyball?
25:50You wonder y'all want to be there.
25:52So zero, zero.
25:54Let's do it.
25:54Come on.
25:58Do it.
25:59Over.
26:00Over.
26:00Over.
26:01Over.
26:02Over.
26:05So how are you and Cole?
26:06Well, I feel like we've been together almost five years.
26:09And, like, we have rocky stuff in our relationship,
26:11but we always go back to each other.
26:13I'm about to go stop this.
26:14It's going to be me to end up in trouble somehow.
26:16Most recently, this was the longest break we took.
26:20And, like, the whole time I knew, like, Cole misses me.
26:23Like, I know Cole wants me back.
26:25Casey's going in on Cole right now.
26:26It's her talking.
26:27I can tell.
26:28I can see her arms moving.
26:28She started doing like the...
26:29She's going in on me right now.
26:32I would say Casey and I definitely have a passionate relationship.
26:34You know, the highs are really high.
26:36The lows are lows.
26:37I mean, that's how it's always been.
26:40We haven't officially, like, said we're official,
26:42but we're pretty close, too.
26:44I mean, a week from now, I couldn't tell you.
26:46And a week ago, I don't know.
26:47I forgot.
26:47It's close.
26:48Here we go.
26:50Goose, goose.
26:51That's you, Galena.
26:52We go.
26:55Try to put a little more ass in it.
26:59I'm watching you.
27:01Have y'all talked about getting married?
27:02Have y'all talked about getting engaged at all?
27:03I don't really like to talk about it a whole lot because he gets irritated.
27:08Someone's like, you guys have been together almost 11 years.
27:10Like, when are you getting married?
27:11When are you getting married?
27:12Like, it doesn't need to be forced upon us.
27:14Like, we live together.
27:15We've lived together for a long time.
27:16If it was up to Allie or pretty much anybody other than me,
27:20I think that we would already be married.
27:22And it has been 10 years.
27:23I know that's a long time.
27:25My biggest fear of getting married is screwing it up.
27:29I've made mistakes in Allie's and I's relationship,
27:32and it's just something that I never want to do if I get married.
27:35I think you should go down there and interrupt it.
27:37I think we need to walk down there.
27:38Go down there and talk about only happy things.
27:41Actually, I'm going to take Cal food.
27:43Oh.
27:43Oh.
27:44Okay.
27:45I think that they're both emotionally immature for sure.
27:50They've gotten better, definitely.
27:52Yes.
27:52But, like, I think a lot of it does have to do with, like,
27:55their parents' marriage.
27:56It does.
27:57I think seeing how my parents' marriage fell apart
28:00and how messy the divorce was,
28:02it's definitely weighed on my relationships,
28:05strained my relationships,
28:06and I think it's affected all of us boys.
28:08That's where you're taking Cal?
28:09Yeah.
28:10Three cheeseburgers?
28:10Three cheeseburgers?
28:11Well, I'm going to eat one of them.
28:12Let's eat it.
28:14I mean, I'm going to eat one of them.
28:15What are you guys doing?
28:16We're taking our girls' food.
28:18Men of the year here, Braden.
28:19This is how you'd be a gentleman.
28:20Hey, guys.
28:21What's up, y'all?
28:22Wow.
28:23So, like, anything bad you guys just said,
28:25let's just forget it.
28:25This is good.
28:28That's nice.
28:30I burnt yours.
28:31That's so nice of you.
28:32Game point.
28:33Game point.
28:36One up.
28:38Oh, look at him go.
28:39Oh.
28:43You did.
28:44You're very thirsty.
28:47You did.
28:49You're very thirsty.
28:50You're very thirsty.
28:50You're very thirsty.
28:51You're very thirsty.
28:51You're very thirsty.
28:52You're very thirsty.
28:52You're very thirsty.
28:53You're very thirsty.
28:54You're very thirsty.
28:54You're very thirsty.
28:54You're very thirsty.
28:55You're very thirsty.
28:55You're very thirsty.
28:56You're very thirsty.
28:56You're very thirsty.
28:56You're very thirsty.
28:57You're very thirsty.
28:58You're very thirsty.
28:58You're very thirsty.
28:58You're very thirsty.
28:59You're very thirsty.
28:59You're very thirsty.
29:00You're very thirsty.
29:00You're very thirsty.
29:01You're very thirsty.
29:01You're very thirsty.
29:02You're very thirsty.
29:03You're very thirsty.
29:04You're very thirsty.
29:05You're very thirsty.
29:06You're very thirsty.
29:07Oh, my God.
29:37The morning that we got robbed, they stole a truck.
29:41It was a dump bed truck, an expensive truck.
29:44Get to work, Jay Raymond.
29:47I said you need to get to work.
29:51What's up, Bozzie Boo?
29:53Just trying to figure out who stole that shit.
29:56You got any leads on it yet?
29:58I don't know.
29:59It's just so hard to tell.
30:00I hate to make accusations or speculate, but you kind of know how it is.
30:05And we don't get no love from the community.
30:07I mean, you know how it is.
30:09I know.
30:17Just trying to figure out who stole that shit.
30:21You got any leads on it yet?
30:22I don't know.
30:23So I found out this morning that we got robbed.
30:26They stole a truck.
30:28It was a dump bed truck, an expensive truck.
30:31Jesse is an ugly thing, and I don't know why people want to be like that.
30:35It's like they've forgotten their roots.
30:37I love and I thank so much of the boss and the boys because when I come to the farm, we
30:41was less than 800 acres.
30:43I've been here when we, the years we struggled and no one knew about it.
30:47And it's sad.
30:47It's crazy.
30:49You would think that everybody would be supportive in a small community and get behind somebody
30:54so to create jobs and try to make things better.
30:58Yeah.
30:58I don't know.
30:59The ramifications go beyond just the fact that they just stole all our equipment.
31:04I mean, that could push us into a red line situation just from the cost of insurance
31:10to operate the farm and ranch.
31:12A lot of people base who you are or who the boys are by other people's perception of them.
31:19Gallatin, Missouri here is a very small town, very small community.
31:23Most people, their families have been here for generations.
31:26A lot of them are neighborly.
31:28In some, they just like gossip.
31:30When the boss and the boys came in here, there was a little bit of talk about them.
31:36But when Colton started going to school, that's when people started taking notice.
31:40That was about time Boss Man started buying up a lot of ground.
31:43And a lot of locals didn't like it.
31:46And so a lot of people didn't like Boss Man.
31:49A lot of people here still in Gallatin probably don't.
31:52At this point in juncture, I don't know what to even tell you because I think you've tried
31:58to do all the good and right things to make peace or try to get along with everybody.
32:06We have more enemies than I could name.
32:08I mean, I hear so much bullshit every day that I was a drug dealer.
32:12I was a kingpin.
32:13We have stuff that happens.
32:15It's so crazy.
32:16I've had better days.
32:18We have theft.
32:19We have sabotage.
32:20Destruction of our equipment.
32:21I mean, it's like the whole world's against you.
32:24I mean, we get chosen for every audit, like these random audits.
32:30It's absolutely selective enforcement.
32:33This special agent with the state of Missouri just stopped by the car wash.
32:37That's crazy.
32:38If you have a little bit of success, you're going to suffer a lot of hate and jealousy.
32:44I mean, we get robbed here.
32:45It's $100,000.
32:47Our insurance is so we're like on the verge of getting dropped.
32:49See, I wondered about that.
32:50We can't turn it in.
32:52I'm not even turning it in.
32:53So there's no recouping that.
32:55So now there's $100,000 less that we got to replace this equipment with that could have
33:00went to people's 401k or health care.
33:03So they're not robbing just, they're robbing us.
33:06All of us.
33:06They're robbing all of us.
33:07That's sad.
33:08That's sad.
33:12Let's go.
33:13Move it that way.
33:15All right, let's get these two.
33:18Those have white tags.
33:19Oh, shit.
33:19My bad.
33:20Did you hear the mowers got stolen?
33:35Truck, trailer, and mowers.
33:38Always freaking something.
33:39There's a little black car and then they drove out right through the front gate.
33:43I want to know who did it.
33:46And maybe it's a complete stranger, but so many times it's not.
33:51So anyone that wants to can just drive onto the farm.
33:54We've set up the good fence and a good security system.
33:57But at the end of the day, you can only do so much.
34:00And if people are trying to steal from you, they're going to figure out a way how.
34:03You got news.
34:04You got news.
34:06I can see it on your face.
34:07I remember seeing a black Challenger ripping down this road.
34:11And the car's from Jamesport.
34:14I know where the car parks.
34:15That's definitely louvers on the back.
34:17You can see them shining from the lights.
34:19Here that is.
34:20One, two, three, four.
34:22Let's go.
34:23Let's go.
34:24I'm confident.
34:27That's the car.
34:28It's happened too many times.
34:30It's time to make a point.
34:31I just want to catch somebody so we can make an example of them.
34:33Let's get this motherfucker.
34:44You know the mowers got stolen?
34:46Truck, trailer, and mowers.
34:47I want to know who did it.
34:49I remember seeing a black Challenger.
34:51I know where the car parks.
34:53Let's go.
34:54Let's go.
34:54Let's get this motherfucker.
34:56It's time to make a point to people.
34:58It's happened too many times.
35:00I just want to catch somebody so we can make an example of them.
35:03I hope this is it.
35:06Oh, I do too.
35:08Oh, it's someone loving.
35:09So, I mean, if we get in a fight here, where they cross that bridge when we get there.
35:13Yeah.
35:13These fuckers have our stuff.
35:16Whenever you get something stolen from you, time is of the essence.
35:18After 24 hours, it's in a different city, a different county, hell, a different state.
35:23I'm going to check their fucking barns, their property, everything.
35:26I'm going to walk right up their barns.
35:28If they come out of the house, I'll be like, call the sheriff, bitch.
35:31Yeah.
35:31Call the fucking sheriff.
35:33Sheriff's already called.
35:34He's on his way, boy.
35:35Yeah.
35:36My dad grew up poor, and he knows the feeling of not having anything and seeing rich people
35:41around you and wanting that.
35:42And he could have done the same thing.
35:43You know, he could have went right down the road and just stole and not went to work.
35:46He's never been a guy who would go try to steal anything, try to, you know, take anybody's
35:50things.
35:51He's always worked for everything he's ever gotten.
35:53That's fucking crazy.
35:54Them dumbasses, they don't think we have cameras.
35:56They're so stupid.
35:56What are they going to do, be riding the lawnmowers out there mowing while you drive
36:00by?
36:01Hello?
36:02Hey, who's that?
36:03That's fucking shit.
36:05They're right by the red barn.
36:06I knew it.
36:07I haven't heard nothing good about the fucking shit ever.
36:09Crazy, isn't it?
36:11Yeah.
36:12Let's fucking go.
36:13Fuck them, dude.
36:18It's going to be here.
36:19This is the address for the purple car, right?
36:22Yep.
36:23Bye.
36:23There's a mower right there, an orange mower.
36:34I see it.
36:36Is that not a mower?
36:37Oh, yeah.
36:37That's by the door?
36:39Yeah.
36:39You better be careful going up here.
36:43Did you get, did Jesse get a hold of the sheriff?
36:45Yep.
36:46He already did.
36:46You think that's where this guy lives?
36:53Yeah, it is where he lives.
37:01How are you?
37:02Good, how are you?
37:03What can I help you with?
37:04Whether they have family or friends, they're all locals that are around here stealing from
37:08us.
37:09No one's coming up from the city to take our stuff.
37:10We had a couple things stolen from our property.
37:14Yeah, I mean, they stole two zero turns, our dump truck, our trailer, $100,000 worth
37:18of stuff.
37:19This is the first time I've heard of that.
37:20And we got it.
37:21The car cleared today.
37:22They're just getting the final, dude.
37:24Dark colored.
37:24But they got the louvers on the back window.
37:26They're getting the plates now, so.
37:27I got nothing to hide.
37:30You wouldn't mind us looking through your barns just to clear you, would you?
37:32I'd be totally fine with that.
37:34Nope.
37:34That answer's good enough.
37:35I don't need to look.
37:36What did he say to you to make you realize he didn't have your stolen equipment?
37:47I asked him specifically if he would mind if we go on in back and look through his barns.
37:52He's like, go ahead, go right ahead.
37:54So I don't think there's anything there.
37:55I mean, he was going to let us go look.
37:57In a small town like this, when there's only like three or four officers, you have to do
38:02half your own detective work and you're going to make wrong decisions.
38:06I would love to catch somebody robbing me.
38:09It just wasn't today.
38:11I guess we're just going to head back to the office for now.
38:13That's the fifth time we've been robbed this year.
38:20Thank you, guys.
38:21You know, honestly, it makes me so mad.
38:23I hope I don't end up actually ever catching somebody because I don't know that the anger
38:27wouldn't overtake me and the outcome would not be good.
38:36When the devil calls, when the devil calls, hell's coming down these bloody railings.
38:51We're about to work these calves.
38:53You going to come down here?
38:54Yeah.
38:55So we're ready to go.
38:56Oh, shoot.
38:57Perfect.
38:57I don't know if you and I will be myself.
38:58We'll see what we can do.
38:59The old cowboys.
39:00Oh, good looking herd.
39:23Beautiful sunset.
39:24Have you heard any more about the mowers that got stolen?
39:29Any updates at all?
39:30No, they're long gone.
39:33This is about the worst thing that, I mean, somebody works so hard for something and just
39:37have somebody come in and take it with no regard to what it took to get it.
39:42We can't have any more claims.
39:43We couldn't have any more claims to claim before that claim.
39:45And here we are.
39:46So I'm pretty much just about to give up on it.
39:50That's frustrating.
39:51Well, you just stay after the grind and you get a win every now and again.
39:55Keep you in the game.
39:56About to hit planting season.
39:59Make or break the year on planting season.
40:01That's all timing.
40:02Getting it in, getting it done.
40:04Tell you what, after the last few years, I'm ready for a damn good year.
40:11Boys, we got some change coming, some big changes coming down the road.
40:16And, you know, I wanted to come out here and talk to you guys and let you know.
40:20I know we're always in a lot of debt.
40:22And we've taken on so much debt with the farm and ranch and trying to continue to grow.
40:28And we have an opportunity now with a hedge fund out of New York that Galena's been working
40:33on to potentially borrow $105 million.
40:38Crazy.
40:39Wow.
40:39That's a lot of zeros.
40:40That's crazy.
40:43Big boy money, Wall Street money.
40:45I mean, for them to come in from New York City, you know, I've never even been to New York City.
40:50I've never been to New York City.
40:51I've never been there.
40:52Can you even imagine?
40:54It might as well be another country to me.
40:56I've never even, you know.
40:58And here they are coming in and telling us that they've looked at the biggest, you know,
41:03companies in the country.
41:04It's a game changer deal for our family, for the farm, for the ranch.
41:08And I, you know, I think about all that and everything we always dream about and talk
41:13about as a family.
41:14I just don't know what to think about the corporate world coming out here.
41:20Are they going to make us change who we are?
41:22Because I ain't losing these boots and cowboy hats anytime soon.
41:25I feel like they do things a lot different than we do it here.
41:27I mean, what's the biggest deal you've ever done?
41:30Not anything close to that.
41:32$13 to $15 million.
41:34I mean, you look at where we're at right now.
41:36I mean, we're $60, $65 million in right now.
41:39And that's all every dollar is guaranteed.
41:42If we don't make it work, they come and take my house, your house, everything we own.
41:49Well, my dad has never been scared of risks.
41:50So he definitely puts the cart ahead of the horse at times.
41:54And sometimes that gets us into a lot of trouble.
41:58My dad is not one to tell us about the problems and struggles he's facing.
42:03So for him to be telling us about this, there's a lot of stress on his plate right now.
42:08What are you guys thinking on that?
42:12You know, it's not just us.
42:13We've got a lot of families to feed, a lot of people to write checks to.
42:17You know, we have a good team and a lot of people around us that are great people.
42:21We wouldn't be where we were at without our people.
42:23No, we wouldn't be.
42:25I mean, they're family.
42:26I think I'm speaking for all of us when I say we'd rather die than watch this place go down.
42:32Amen.
42:33We ain't losing this farm.
42:34Shoot.
42:35This is our home, man.
42:36This is our everything.
42:37I don't know about you guys.
42:38I want my kids to grow up here.
42:40I want them to.
42:40I absolutely do.
42:42I want to be here till the day I die, and I want them to be here till the day they die.
42:49You in?
42:51I'm all in.
42:52I'm in.
42:53Man, let's do it.
42:55I like it.
42:56I mean, we've never backed down from anything.
42:58So why start now?
43:00You better be nice to Galena, because we need her for this.
43:02I am nice to Galena.
43:04Maybe be extra nice.
43:08This deal, it's just a ginormous risk.
43:13Like, huge risk.
43:16I mean, putting it all on the line.
43:19Save my soul.
43:22Before I'm dust and bone.
43:26You look smokin' hot.
43:33Galena has no idea I'm dating bruh.
43:36Can I just walk away now?
43:37You and I are probably the only ones that would actually be able to run anything.
43:40I don't see him stepping up yet.
43:42I can do it.
43:43I have been out there sweating and blooding.
43:46I've been digging ditches since I'm 12 years old.
43:49Where can't the girls go?
43:50It's a boys trip.
43:51So I don't have anything to worry about?
43:54You know I am.
43:56You're bad sometimes.
43:57I don't know if you want but I don't want to.
44:01I don't want to.
44:06I don't want to.
