00:00Not a great start yesterday in Anaheim out of Jacob deGrom,
00:04who had been lights out entering that start against the Halos.
00:089-2 this year with a 2-1-3 ERA.
00:11He had won his last three starts in the Rangers
00:14and won his last six starts in a row as a team.
00:18Not yesterday.
00:19That win streak coming to a close in a wild game in Anaheim.
00:23The Angels win, as you see there, 6-5.
00:26Again, when deGrom left the game, his team had a one-run lead.
00:31But DRS in the home half of the ninth with the bases juiced
00:35and Nolan Shanwell at the dish.
00:38He recorded a walk and the Angels walked it off.
00:42Bases loaded, a walk-off walk, 6-5 the victory for the Halos against the Rangers.
00:48Yeah, I'd like to see that here for the Angels picking up that victory.
00:51But also, that's a tough loss for the Rangers to have.
00:54Cucucci was on the mound.
00:55You're supposed to have the better pitcher.
00:56It didn't work out in that direction.
00:57But Corey Seager, 2-4 yesterday.
00:59Another 2-RBI.
01:00Another home run up to 2-50 now.
01:02Still waiting for him to be like,
01:03OK, the Rangers are playing.
01:05This guy has to be on my card.
01:06And maybe that's going to be a good sign.
01:08Texas Rangers, it feels like they just have to get to that 500 mark
01:11and then say, OK, the war of attrition.
01:14We made it through.
01:15Now, let's start our season over
01:16and see if we can start to climb in the standings
01:18for at least a wild card opportunity
01:19because it just hasn't been their type of season yet,
01:21which included Corey Seager.
01:23Maybe he starts to wake up,
01:25which might be the biggest thing in that lineup overall.
