The death toll has now crossed 100 after catastrophic flooding tore through central Texas, with the devastation entred around the Guadalupe River. Among the hardest-hit locations is Camp Mystic, an all-girls summer camp near Kerrville, where 27 campers and counsellors have tragically died. Ten more remain missing, and rescue efforts continue under dangerous conditions.
Officials warn that more rain is expected, potentially worsening the already dire situation. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has declared a state of emergency as search-and-rescue missions intensify across Hunt, Kerr, and nearby counties.
