The 2025 Acura ADX is the first-ever compact SUV from Acura, Honda's luxury division, building on the immense success of its larger MDX and RDX luxury SUVs. Available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, the ADX begins at around $35,000. This starting price point includes premium details like Leatherette upholstery, a moonroof, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger.
The Acura ADX shares its powertrain with the Honda HRV, featuring a 4-cylinder in-line turbo engine that delivers 190 horsepower. Despite its engine size, the ADX offers a remarkably peppy driving experience, thanks to its sport-tuned suspension and sport brakes. It also shares its platform with the Integra, a heritage brand Acura recently revived, though the ADX distinguishes itself as a true SUV. Positioned as the "gateway to the brand," Acura aims to spoil buyers with both exterior design and beautiful interior details. The interior adopts Acura's new design language, including a flat-bottom steering wheel in the A-spec trim, a tactile standard lever gear selector, and a conveniently placed drive mode selector.
The luxurious feel extends to the materials, with leatherette as standard and leather and suede seats in higher trims, complemented by brushed metal and textured panels on door panels and the center console. Paddle shifters and various drive modes (sport, normal, comfort, snow) further enhance the driving experience. The rear seat of the ADX is surprisingly spacious for a compact SUV, offering ample legroom thanks to shared architecture with the Honda HRV. Despite its compact size, the ADX doesn't disappoint in cargo space either, featuring a removable cargo cover and underfloor storage spots.
Starting at $35,000 and with the top-line A-spec Advanced under $46,000, the ADX offers luxury at a price less than the average car sold today. Acura fans will appreciate its spirited drive, luxurious appointments, and Honda's well-engineered, built-to-last quality, making the ADX a valuable addition to the Acura family.

00:12They've had an enormous amount of success with their luxury SUVs, the MDX and the RDX.
00:19They've been so successful that Honda produced a compact or a mini-me of those SUVs, that is the ADX.
00:27The Acura ADX reflects the new design language, which is very sleek and very modern.
00:32Our model is an A-Spec Advanced, which is the top of the line, and it's notable for the larger 19-inch wheels with sport brakes and the Advanced grille.
00:42This diamond mesh grille is something that Acura introduced with this generation of design, and it has the effect of water rushing away from the surface.
00:51It gives a feeling of motion even when the car is standing still.
00:54It is available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
00:59All-wheel drive adds about $2,000 to the price, and there are three basic trim levels.
01:04There is the ADX, there is the A-Spec, and the A-Spec Advanced.
01:09The ADX starts at about $35,000, and that includes some really nice luxury details,
01:14from leatherette upholstery and a moonroof to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and even a wireless phone charger.
01:22The Acura ADX shares its powertrain with the Honda HR-V.
01:26That is a four-cylinder in-line turbo that delivers 190 horsepower.
01:32But don't let the engine size fool you. Even though it's not the biggest engine out on the road, it is quite peppy, and it drives really well.
01:41And that's thanks to the sport-tuned suspension and sport brakes on the Acura ADX.
01:46The Acura ADX also shares its platform with the Integra, a heritage brand that Acura revived a couple of years ago.
01:53But how are they different? Well, the Integra is a sedan slash hatchback.
01:58The ADX is a true SUV and is really more along the lines of the RDX and the MDX, more so than the Integra.
02:08Acura calls this the gateway to the brand, and as the entry level in this lineup, they really want you to feel spoiled,
02:16not just by the design on the exterior, but also by all these really beautiful interior details.
02:23The interior of the Acura ADX is notable for Acura's new design language.
02:28We're in the A-Spec Advanced, which has a flat-bottom steering wheel, but what's really notable are things like a standard lever gear selector.
02:37It really is a great thing for this brand because it does give you that tactile feel, even though it is an electronic gear selector.
02:44Down here, you'll find the drive mode selector, hill descent control if you need it, there's the parking brake, and brake hold.
02:51You'll also notice this mesh on the air vents.
02:55That is very similar to what you'll find in the Honda HR-V.
02:58It's something that you'll see across the lineup of both cars.
03:02It also has this feature.
03:04Hey, Google.
03:06Google built-in is a really nice voice-activated assistance.
03:10It's not standard, however.
03:12It's included in the higher spec trims in the ADX lineup.
03:17Adding to the luxurious feel are the level of materials.
03:20So we have leather seats in this model, leather and suede, but that leather also extends to the door panels and the dash.
03:28The leather is offset by this really beautiful brushed metal and then a textured panel that surrounds the door handles and is also found on the center console.
03:37The Acura ADX also has paddle shifters and there are drive modes that allow you to scroll through sport, normal, comfort, and slow.
03:49The rear seat of the Acura ADX is nicely sized, too.
03:53That's the magic of the Honda HR-V.
03:56They made that car bigger.
03:57The Acura ADX follows that.
04:00So for a compact SUV, it actually has quite a lot of legroom, which is really nice.
04:05You'll also find standard air vents and USB ports here in the rear seat, plus this really beautiful orchid upholstery.
04:14As an SUV, we count on really good cargo space.
04:18And the ADX, even though it's a compact SUV, doesn't disappoint.
04:22There's plenty of space in here.
04:24Acura includes this nice cargo cover that can be removed.
04:27There are even some little storage spots underneath the cargo floor.
04:32And there is the jack if you need to change a tire.
04:35As an entry-level SUV to the Acura brand, the ADX is a great place to start.
04:41Starting at $35,000, it's affordable.
04:44Our top-of-the-line A-Spec Advanced comes in at just under $46,000.
04:50So still a luxury car, but less than the price of the average car sold today.
04:55Acura fans are known for loving this brand for its spirited drive, luxurious appointments inside,
05:01and the fact that it's built by Honda.
05:04It's well-engineered and built to last.
05:06The ADX is a really nice addition to the Acura family.
