00:00In the golden plains of the African savannah, where acacia trees danced in the warm wind
00:06and zebras grazed peacefully under the sun, lived a boy named Juma with his family. Juma was 12
00:12years old, sharp-eyed and brave, with skin kissed by the sun and feet toughened by the earth.
00:19His family lived in a round, thatched hut made of mud and straw. They were herders,
00:25and their most valuable treasures were their cattle, strong, horned beasts with beautiful
00:30hides that provided milk, meat, and pride. Every morning, Juma led the cattle to graze in the tall
00:38grasses. His father had taught him how to track footprints, how to listen to the rustling grass,
00:43and how to sense danger in the air. Juma loved his cattle like family and knew each one by name.
00:55Behind a bush, a massive lion with golden eyes and a mane like fire leapt forward,
01:01teeth bared, heading straight for the cattle. The herd scattered in panic.
01:06Juma's heart raced, but he did not run. He remembered his father's words.
01:11The lion is strong, but courage is stronger. Grabbing his long stick and a burning branch
01:17from the small fire he had made for cooking, Juma shouted and ran toward the lion.
01:22The lion paused, surprised by the small figure running at him with flames. Juma waved the fiery
01:30branch and screamed, trying to look bigger and fiercer than he felt. He jabbed the fire near the lion's face.
01:39Startled and scorched slightly by the flame, the lion snarled and backed away. With one last roar,
01:46it turned and disappeared into the tall grass. The cattle regrouped slowly, still nervous. Juma checked
01:54each one, whispering to them gently, making sure none were hurt. His heart still pounded, but his eyes were
02:01calm. When he returned to the village with the cattle unharmed, the elders praised him. His mother wept
02:09tears of pride, and his father placed a hand on his shoulder and said, today you became a true warrior
02:16of the savannah. From that day on, Juma was no longer just a boy who washed the cattle. He was the boy who
02:24faced a lion who would save his family's livelihood. The story of his courage spread from hut to hut,
02:31and the people of the plains would whisper, that is Juma, the brave one who lit fire in the lion's eyes.
02:39And every evening, as the sun dipped below the endless savannah horizon, Juma would sit by his
02:46cattle, listening to their peaceful chewing, knowing he had earned his place among the guardians of the wild.
