Ecuador seizes nearly three tons of drugs linked to the Albanian mafia

Ecuador seizes nearly three tons of drugs belonging to the Albanian mafia, authorities say. The group has ties to cartels in Colombia and Mexico, as well as to local gangs that are bleeding the country in their fight for power. 'Five people were arrested in the operation, allegedly linked to the Albanian mafia,' according to Regional Military Commander Colonel Victor Ordonez.
