00:00The Pentagon says that Iran's nuclear program has been degraded by up to two years
00:06following U.S. strikes that it claimed destroyed the three sites targeted by the U.S.
00:12Sean Parnell, a Pentagon spokesperson, offered the estimate at a briefing to reporters.
00:18You know, our assessment of the battle damage around Fordow, Nantes, and Istafan remains unchanged.
00:23I mean, we believe and certainly all of the intelligence that we've seen have led us to
00:30believe that Iran's those facilities especially have been completely obliterated.
00:36And the interesting kind of side point about this, Tara, is that all of the conversations
00:42that we've had since Operation Midnight Hammer with our allies all around the world, but
00:47certainly also in the region, you know, they say a couple of things.
00:50They share our sentiments about, you know, the degradation of Iran's nuclear program and
00:56the fact that we have degraded their program by one to two years, at least Intel assessments
01:00inside the department assess that.
01:01And I think their intelligence shares that conclusion.
01:05Assessments by this department think it's been degraded or delayed by one to two years?
01:10I think we're thinking probably closer to two years, like degraded their program by two years.
