00:10on March 14th, 1986, Giotto became the first spacecraft to observe a comet up
00:15close when it flew within 370 miles of Halley's Comet. Giotto was named after
00:20the early Renaissance painter Giotto di Bondone, who depicted Halley's Comet as
00:24the star of Bethlehem in his painting Adoration of the Magi. And that's what
