00:03The film Sunshine, starring Filipino actress Marisa Rakhal,

00:06earned two awards at the Austin Asian American Film Festival.

00:10The film production project Eight Projects announced

00:12that the film won the Narrative Feature Jury Awards

00:15and Narrative Feature Audience Award.

00:18The jury praised the winning film for its compelling storytelling,

00:21setting, and standout lead performance.

00:23The film tells the story of a young gymnast

00:26who finds out that she is pregnant on the week of the national team tryouts.

00:30To recall, the movie also won the Crystal Bear for Best Film

00:34at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival

00:37and became part of the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
