02:43dealing with it in our own way.
02:46While we were still reeling from that shock, the TIV was caught on tape
02:50driving questionably.
02:52So we've seen you on the internet lately.

02:58As a result, we were banned by Dr. Josh Werman from chasing the same storm

03:05This has been a year that has tried our souls.

22:45one of our main goals as storm chasers is to keep people in the path of these storms worn
22:49and this thing is capable of causing massive destruction and possibly the loss of life

23:28to be able to intercept can we go north no we can get right on the butt you want to get on the
23:33northwest side that's where the inflow is going on more than a moving storm so on the butt it's just
23:38going to be rfd the probe it's going to get shoved right into the ground if you get in front of a
23:42tornado you're taking a lot of control out of your hands because if the tornado expands
23:46you can easily get swept up joel we're going to miss it we have to be really careful with being
23:50right in front of a half mile wide we can always bench northeast joel is arguing that you know we
23:56need to stay put unless we know we are clear of that we are not cutting the front of that thing but
24:00we still have enough time to get to the northwest side of the storm if we leave right now we're not
24:04going to get a probe in it this way let's just get in front of it get in the inflow it's Linda Floyd

40:04All hell broke loose, I mean trees were flying through the air, plumes of debris just being lofted, it was awful.

40:26These storms proved to be some of the deadliest in years, killing three people.
40:30One of the hardest areas hit was Wadena, the twister ripped right through town, hitting just blocks from Main Street.
40:37Sirens saved lives here and for that, people are forever grateful.
40:43We were behind the eight ball most of the day on this chase, but stepping into a community and helping out with search and rescue efforts is gratifying to me.
40:52The tornado was three quarters of a mile wide, just huge.
40:56It actually drives me harder to help understanding this violent act of nature, to help provide answers and clues on why tornadoes are so damaging to communities such as this.
