00:00So this is Arnold Kevitt's book E by Gumlord, a retelling of the gospel stories in Yorkshire
00:06dialect, and in it he has his version of the Lord's Prayer, and it goes like this.
00:11Our Father, who art in heaven, let thy name be shown respect, let thy kingdom come about,
00:19and what thou want's doing, Lord, let it be done, here on earth, same as up yonder.
00:24He has each day some at Titan's up, and let us off, Lord, if we've offended thee be doing out wrong,
00:32and help us not to odd grudges against other folk, if they've done out to offend us,
00:37and keep us out at road of temptation, and out at clutches of old Nick,
00:42for it's all thy in his kingdom, Lord, and all power, and all glory, for hiver and hiver.
00:48Aye, it is that.
