As summer evenings return, we ask people in Birmingham what they think makes the perfect pub garden—and whether smoking should be banned in outdoor areas where people are eating and drinking.

00:24I think maybe it should be one half of a garden or another.

00:27Perfect garden, greenery,

00:31lots of parasols if it's nice.

00:33Shades if it's raining, so you can still sit outside.

00:37So I'd say the perfect garden is where the sunny place is,

00:42the shade,

00:43where you've got different people there,

00:48there should be some music there, I'd say.

00:51And I think smoking should be allowed outside,

00:56as long as it's not bothering the other person.
