00:00Free agent kicker Justin Tucker has been suspended without pay for the first 10 games of the 2025
00:06NFL season due to a violation of the league's personal conduct policy, the NFL announced on
00:12Thursday. The suspension comes after serious allegations surfaced against Tucker, involving
00:17inappropriate behavior during massage sessions. According to reports, 16 massage therapists from
00:24eight different spas in the Baltimore area accused Tucker of misconduct dating back to 2012 through
00:292016, early in his NFL career. The claims were first made public by the Baltimore Banner in January
00:372025. Tucker, now 35 years old, has denied all allegations, but the NFL still proceeded with
00:45disciplinary action after its investigation. He was released by the Baltimore Ravens on May 5,
00:51ending a 13-year run with the team. His suspension officially starts August 26,
00:57just as teams finalize their 53-man rosters, and he'll be eligible to return on November 11.
01:04Although he's currently a free agent, Tucker can still sign with the team at any time,
01:10attend training camp, and play in preseason games. However, he'll have to sit out the first 10 regular
01:16season games, regardless of which team he ends up with. Tucker's agent, Rob Roche, issued a statement
01:23criticizing the NFL's decision but said the kicker would accept the suspension to move on.
01:28Justin has always tried to carry himself with dignity and make his family proud. While he denies
01:34the accusations, he wants to put this chapter behind him and return to football. Tucker leaves behind an
01:41incredible career with Baltimore. An undrafted kicker out of Texas, he became a 7-time pro bowler,
01:485-time All-Pro, and the most accurate kicker in NFL history with an 89.1% field goal rate.
01:55He even owns the NFL record for the longest field goal ever made, 66 yards, and helped lead the Ravens
02:02to a Super Bowl XLVII victory. However, 2024 was a rough year for him. He hit just 73.
02:113% of his field goals, the worst season of his career. Following Tucker's release, the Ravens
02:17moved on quickly, selecting kicker Tyler Loop out of Arizona in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft.
02:25So far, Tucker hasn't had any reported visits with other teams since his release.
02:30With his suspension now public and his reputation taking a hit,
02:34the path back to the field may not be as smooth as it once seemed.
