00:04To your social post on Canada specifically,

00:08why are you deciding to end trade talks with Canada

00:10and what rate are you looking to set?

00:13So Canada put a charge on some of our companies

00:17and Canada's been a very difficult country to deal with over the years.

00:22You know, we hear Canada, we have a great relationship with the people of Canada,

00:26but it's been very difficult and they put a charge

00:29and they were a little bit early, we found out about it.

00:32And we have all the cards, we have every single one.

00:35We don't want to do anything bad, but they have,

00:38economically we have such power over Canada.

00:42I'd rather not use it, but they did something with our tech companies today

00:47trying to copy Europe, you know, they copied Europe.

00:49It's not going to work out well for Europe either

00:51and it's not going to work out well for Canada.

00:54They were foolish to do it.

00:55So I said, we're going to stop all negotiations with Canada right now

00:59until they straighten out their act.

01:02Is there anything Canada can do to change your mind about this situation?

01:05No, they put a tax on companies that were American companies

01:09that they shouldn't, a very severe tax.

01:12And, yeah, I guess they could remove it.

01:16They will, but I don't really, I mean, it doesn't matter to me.

01:21You know, we do a lot of business with Canada, but relatively little.

01:25They do most of their businesses with us.

01:28And when you have that circumstance, you treat people better.

01:31They've had farmers that are getting, like, 300, 400, 200 percent in tariffs.

01:38Nobody's ever seen anything like it.

01:40We have cases, you don't read this and the people don't report,

01:43but they charge us 400 percent on some dairy products.

01:52It's not fair to our farmers and we've got to protect our farmers.
