‘CM Yogi is BJP member due to helplessness’: Akhilesh Yadav’s big claim

Lucknow (UP), June 27, 2025 (ANI): Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav took a sharp dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, calling him “helpless” for being a BJP member only to contest elections. He said “It is his (UP CM Yogi Adityanath) helplessness that he has to be a member of the party to be eligible to contest elections. If he wants a Lotus symbol, he has to be a member. The CM is a member of the BJP because he wants to contest elections under the Party's symbol, the Lotus. Otherwise, he is not a member of the BJP.
