00:00Yeah, I'm not nervous at all. I'm just excited, man. Life's too short to be nervous about something as magical as being part of this, you know.
00:07This is our first festival of the year, and I want to showcase a bunch of the new stuff, but I want to make sure there's something for people that know the old record to have things to sing along to.
00:18But even just that show that we just did there, playing some things that no one knew and everyone getting involved. So, yeah, I just think Glastonbury is about most of the time.
00:28The majority of your audience are people that have never seen you before. They don't really know what to expect anyway.
00:32It's about the energy that you bring more than the set list in a way. I mean, you know, please, God, I'll get to a point in my career when it is, you know, the set list is, you know, with making sure that everyone knows every single thing.
00:46But right now, it's quite like a blessed moment where you can showcase new work and have people feel like they're getting on the bandwagon with you, you know, early doors.
00:56I would like to be a bit kinder to myself, like when just the things I tell myself, everyone's their own worst critic, right?
01:05And you can be really quite hard on yourself. And yeah, I'd like to rather than set goals, I want to set a kind of a feeling of being at peace.
01:16And in the pursuit of whatever this is. So if that culminates in being at peace with myself and those around me, then I'm stoked because ultimately that's kind of what the the meaning of all of this is of like picking up a guitar and writing music and sharing it.
01:34It's not to be kind of critiquing yourself or like beating yourself down or not believing in yourself for the rest of your days.
01:42I want to be in a state of just peace and presence. So that's my goal.
