00:00On the beach near Tel Aviv, there are a few signs of the fierce fighting between Israel and Iran that's just been paused.
00:09The wail of sirens and the roar of incoming missiles are gone now.
00:15There's just the chirping of birds.
00:20And on the shorefront promenade, crowds of people who've spent days in bomb shelters are out strolling and jogging in the seaside air.
00:30A similar calm has returned to Tehran.
00:33Patriotic slogans are still up and armed guards are still visible.
00:37But after a false start, a ceasefire has taken hold and the streets are filled with life.
00:45In both Israel and Iran, there is cautious optimism.
00:48It's a bit scary to go around in the beach and in places where there's no shelter.
00:56But we hope that the ceasefires will maintain.
01:01I agree. The reason is that I haven't slept properly for 12 nights.
01:06And today, after 12 days, I finally came outside, heard about the ceasefire and decided to go for a walk and such.
01:13And honestly, if there's peace, why would I be against it?
01:17Will peace hold, though, especially in the long term?
01:21Israel, with U.S. help, has dealt a blow to Iran's nuclear program, its main objective in this fighting.
01:29But even Israel and the U.S. seem to have different ideas about how big a blow.
01:34On June 21st, a U.S. precision operation effectively fulfilled our narrow objective to degrade Iran's capacity to produce a nuclear weapon.
01:46Well, I think it's still early to assess all the strikes.
01:51We know we were able to push back the program.
01:54We were able to remove the imminent threat that we had.
01:57And CNN reports Israeli and U.S. strikes may only really have put the program back a few months, missing core assets.
02:06Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu says his country won't hesitate to strike again.
02:11And so, in all the significant actions of our fighting, we moved to the Iran's nuclear nuclear project.
02:20And if someone, if someone in Iran will try to build this project, we will act with the same determination, with the same force, to improve every decision like this.
02:30And on the streets of Tehran, some at this anti-Israel, anti-U.S. rally say this conflict isn't over.
02:40We don't accept the imposed ceasefire or imposed peace.
02:45This ceasefire will result in the enemy getting stronger.
02:49We don't approve of the ceasefire at all.
02:51We will continue fighting until we are either martyred or win.
02:55God willing, Iran will eventually own a nuclear bomb.
03:00With mutual suspicion and intense emotions lingering,
03:03the end to the back-and-forth strikes of the past two weeks is far from guaranteed.
