00:00Vielen Dank.
00:30Whether the world was safer now since the United States and Israel struck Iran.
00:35That we take the nuclear threat of Iran very serious.
00:39We have seen that Israel and also the United States have said it's enough for us.
00:44We want to intervene.
00:46I think that's what we should do now.
00:47Pressure Iran and pressure others to sit at the table and to negotiate.
00:51Would you pressure Israel to negotiate?
00:53As well.
00:54It's important that all parties that are involved are willing to negotiate.
00:58So we will pressure everyone, every actor involved to de-escalate and to sit at the table.
01:04This summit is quite a contrast to last year where Ukraine was really front and center.
01:10I think Ukraine is still crucial.
01:14I just announced a new support package of 175 million for Ukraine.
01:18I also announced that we signed four big contracts with Ukrainian companies that are going to produce drones.
01:25It's a total of 500 million with hundreds of thousands of drones that are going to be produced.
01:29So Ukraine is as crucial as ever.
01:32But of course, we know that the position of the United States has changed.
01:35And therefore, also here at the NATO summit, the main topic, of course, is the 5% is a new, this historic step for our defense.
01:46And as we heard there from Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Breckelmans, the U.S. policy in Ukraine has changed.
01:51And very much we'll see that at this NATO summit over the next few days.
01:55The presence and the prioritization of Ukraine is very much in contrast to last year,
02:00where there was even a discussion about Ukraine eventually joining NATO.
02:03But as we've heard from the United States over the past few months,
02:07Ukraine is no longer seen by the U.S. as inextricable when it comes to future NATO security.
