01:32criticism or social rejection, generally with intense shame, anger, and distress, far more than people
01:38without borderline personality disorder. And combined, these conditions may have made Mikayla especially
01:44vulnerable to the kind of persistent online attacks and betrayal her husband describes. And what some saw as
01:49drama or critique may have felt to her like rejection, humiliation, and emotional isolation,
01:55pushing her to a place she couldn't escape from. After Mikayla's death, a well-known Reddit thread that
02:01frequently criticized her in her rescue, specifically one called Save a Fox Snark, was either locked or made
02:07private. But archived posts, however, reveal a community of former fans sharing behind-the-scenes claims,
02:13ranging from alleged safety concerns to personal disputes with volunteers. One post accused Mikayla
02:20of downplaying an animal bite and pressuring a volunteer to avoid seeking medical care. And while
02:25none of these claims have been independently verified, the online pile-on appears to have been relentless.
