00:01Hi, I'm Alanda Norris. I'm European champion and I've raised KF Junior.

00:07It's what we're born to do, it's like what we've grown up,

00:09spending pretty much our whole life trying to achieve.

00:22I'm in that position that I saw on TV and dreamt of being in.

00:30Lando and I go back a long way prior to McLaren.

00:36The first time I met Lando, he was a small 14-year-old.

00:41He and his father came in and he was very nice, he was very shy,

00:44as you would expect a 14-year-old, he was very fast.

00:48I think the first time he drove a race car was probably mine.

00:53The dream is to win world championships together,

00:55so if we fall short of that and see him do that in someone else's car,

00:59that would be personally quite disappointing.

01:03You know, we've done so much together.

01:06My goal is to win races.

01:09I would love to create the story and finish the story and everything with McLaren.

01:16I really would love that.

01:18Sometimes you've got to make decisions that are just the best for you in your career.

01:21If you want to achieve success, if you want to win races or win championships,

01:26sometimes things have to change as much as you don't want them to.

01:28As much as you don't want them to.

01:36Hearing a lot of rumours around Lando.

01:39You know, given the performance, the driver rumours.

01:42We thought it might be useful to come together.

01:45I mean, it's been a tough start to the season.

01:48I think we just need to take back the story to the team.
