00:40Transparency told Euronews.

00:42German MEPs and rapporteurs were the most engaged

00:46with 55 meetings,

00:48Bulgaria places second with 19,

00:51followed by Spain, Finland, Italy and Denmark.

00:55Most major defence manufacturers actually started increasing their budget for EU lobbying

01:01in the wake of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

01:04Collectively, the EU's seven top players spent around 5.5 million euros in 2023,

01:1234% more from the previous year,

01:16Airbus was the biggest spender with nearly 2 million euros.
