00:15individuals aged between 19 and their 50s.
00:18Papa District Police Chief Superintendent Kamaruddin Ambosaka said initial investigations
00:24revealed the altercation began when a local man, who was drinking at the restaurant, spoke
00:29harshly to the Pakistani restaurant operator, triggering a heated argument.
00:34The verbal exchange quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, with friends from
00:39both sides joining in.
00:41Members of the public at the scene eventually intervened and managed to break up the scuffle.
00:47Further investigation revealed that the conflict originated from a dispute a week earlier when
00:52the restaurant operator had visited the suspect's shop to sell scrap metal but was unhappy with
00:58the low price offered.
01:00The situation reignited when the scrap metal shop owner and several friends later visited
01:04the restaurant, leading to the brawl.
01:07Following the incident, all individuals involved voluntarily surrendered to police around 1pm
01:14on Tuesday.
01:15The case is being investigated under Sections 148 and 160 of the Penal Code for Rioting and
01:23fighting in public.
