00:04:10Shit, what time is it?
00:04:16I got a meeting.
00:04:17I gotta go.
00:04:18My driver.
00:04:19He can take you anywhere you want.
00:04:20Okay?
00:04:21Yeah.
00:04:22It's fine.
00:04:23It was fine.
00:04:24Go.
00:04:38Dr. Caldwell?
00:04:39Yes, Natalie.
00:04:40Your mother is back in the hospital.
00:04:42Oh, my God.
00:04:43Is everything okay?
00:04:44Well, she's resting now.
00:04:46She had a fainting spell.
00:04:48The cancer is back.
00:04:49Her immune system is compromised.
00:04:51And we need to start treatment immediately.
00:04:54Okay.
00:04:55I will be there as soon as I can.
00:04:56Yeah, Natalie.
00:04:57Pardon my bluntness.
00:04:58But without insurance, you're looking at $300,000 of expenses plus what you already owe.
00:05:05I will get you the money.
00:05:07Just do whatever it takes.
00:05:09Sure.
00:05:28Really, Rick?
00:05:29New locks?
00:05:35Natalie!
00:05:36To what do I owe this unexpected pleasure?
00:05:39You make me sick.
00:05:40I just came here to get the keys to the Lamborghini.
00:05:43The Lambo?
00:05:44Dream out, babe.
00:05:46That beauty's mine.
00:05:47Draws the ladies like flies.
00:05:49You know what, Rick?
00:05:50I am so sick and tired of your bullshit.

00:06:07We've got some whites!
00:06:08Yeah.
00:06:11I paid for that car, Rick.
00:06:13I need it back.
00:06:14Sorry, babycakes.
00:06:15It was a gift.
00:06:16No takesies-backsies.
00:06:17That was before I knew you'd fuck my best friend.
00:06:21Oh, Natalie.
00:06:23I heard somebody causing you a commotion out here.
00:06:25Figures it was you.
00:06:26Please leave.
00:06:27You're embarrassing yourself.
00:06:28Gladly.
00:06:29Just came to reclaim my car like Rick reclaimed his ring.
00:06:32That ring is a family heirloom and it belongs in the family or at the very least with Rick's
00:06:37new fiancee.
00:06:40Needs a bigger diamond, don't you think?
00:06:50Engaged?
00:06:51Already?
00:06:52How quaint.
00:06:54You know you two deserve each other.
00:06:56I hope you enjoy your superficial life, Valerie.
00:06:58And what?
00:06:59You're here begging?
00:07:00Look, I gave Rick much more than that when I had the money.
00:07:03And what did he do?
00:07:04After my father died and I became broke, he slept with my best friend.
00:07:08I'm taking the car back to sell it so that I can pay for my mom's medical bills.
00:07:12She's sick.
00:07:13Sick.
00:07:14Oh.
00:07:15A touching sob story.
00:07:16Really.
00:07:17But the car stays here.
00:07:19Why don't you just do the world a favor and follow in your father's footsteps?
00:07:24Oh wait.
00:07:25Ghosts don't have footsteps.
00:07:28Fuck you.
00:07:30Enough Natalie.
00:07:31Your begging is unbecoming.
00:07:33Now leave before we call the police.

00:07:56They show some respect!
00:07:57I'm your mother.
00:07:58You are not my real mother, Rebecca!
00:07:59What the hell is going on here?
00:08:01Nate, show some respect! I'm your mother!
00:08:03You are not my real mother, Rebecca.
00:08:05And maybe if you tell Ricky here some respect,
00:08:07he wouldn't be such a douche.
00:08:09Hey, come on, bro.
00:08:10Don't insult your brother like that!
00:08:12May I remind both of you that you married into this family.
00:08:14We're not bound by blood.
00:08:16You idiot! We were just trying to take the trash out!
00:08:20Ease up, sweetie. Nate has a lot of money.
00:08:22You don't want him upset.
00:08:25You know what? Forget it.
00:08:27I don't need anything from you awful people.
00:08:29Oh, wait.
00:08:30Uh, Natalie, sweetie, that horrible heap that you drove up in,
00:08:33isn't that in Rick's name too?
00:08:39It's all yours.
00:08:41Such a cheap bitch.
00:08:45Oh, wait, Nate, where are you going?
00:08:47Aren't you gonna help us with the acquisition?
00:08:48I have things to take care of.
00:08:57I have to pull it together, Natalie.
00:08:59You face the worst.
00:09:00Dad, how did you do it?
00:09:01God, how did you stay so strong?
00:09:03Why did you leave me alone with all of this?
00:09:06I'm sorry, Mom.
00:09:24I'm sorry, Mom. I'll-I'll fix this. I'll find a way.
00:09:27What the fuck?
00:09:40Natalie, what the hell? Are you okay?
00:09:42I didn't see you.
00:09:44Look, Ricky is not worth killing yourself over.
00:09:46Do you really think I care about that loser?
00:09:49Listen, I heard about your mom.
00:09:54You just need to take this.
00:10:02Get her the treatment that she needs.
00:10:07Thank you, Nate.
00:10:09I will pay you back somehow. I'll figure it out.
00:10:15Do you think I actually know a way that you can pay me back?
00:10:18I'm not a prostitute.
00:10:20Believe me, if you were, that dollar amount would be much larger.
00:10:24No, I had something else in mind.
00:10:28Do you have any experience waiting tables?
00:10:30More like experiencing causing scenes, honestly.
00:10:33But I'm a quick learner.
00:10:37Alright, I'll take a chance.
00:10:39But you will be starting at the bottom.
00:10:41Not in here, I thought today was just going to keep kicking me while I'm down.
00:10:47Well, let's just call it a turning point.
00:10:53I won't let you down.
00:10:56I know.
00:10:57You are driving me home, right?
00:11:12After all I did just in my car.
00:11:15Only if you stop driving me crazy.
00:11:19Yeah, I can't promise that.
00:11:27All right, you two, we have got to get practical.
00:11:34We've got to keep our heads down.
00:11:35No more reckless moves.
00:11:36I was just thinking.
00:11:37No, no, no, no.
00:11:38You weren't thinking at all.
00:11:39You don't seem to understand.
00:11:41Nate has got to buy into this marriage.
00:11:44And once he's signed off and you two are married,
00:11:47the trust fund opens up.
00:11:49And we are set.
00:11:52Always the strategist, Mom.
00:11:53That's why I make the big bucks.
00:11:54Cheers.
00:11:58Cheers.
00:11:59I'll leave for two money.
00:12:00Two money.
00:12:13Girl, you have had a tea.
00:12:16Spill the tea and tell me about Nate.
00:12:18Sounds like he really likes you.
00:12:20No way.
00:12:21He's like one of those typical cold business guys.
00:12:24I mean, I'm grateful for his health,
00:12:25but he legit had me sign a contract.
00:12:28Hmm.
00:12:29I think there's a heart beating under that CEO exterior.
00:12:32Maybe.
00:12:33But girl, I don't have time to crack that code.
00:12:36I start at his fancy new restaurant tomorrow.
00:12:38We have a guard.
00:12:40Wait, the fancy French place on Fifth Avenue?
00:12:42That's the one.
00:12:44You're working there?
00:12:46Girl, this I gotta see.
00:12:47Well, change is in the air, Jay.
00:12:50And it is about time.
00:12:58Damn, Jay.
00:13:00These cookies are to die for.
00:13:01I know, right?
00:13:02Family recipe.
00:13:04Hey, maybe you can get me a job at Les Avant-Garde?
00:13:07That would be the dream.
00:13:09Let me make sure that I don't get fired first on day one.
00:13:11But if I can swing it.
00:13:13Hey, we're a package deal.
00:13:15See, now that's what I'm talking about.
00:13:16Plus, you know I love packages.
00:13:24It's the hospital.
00:13:32Hello?
00:13:34Hello?
00:13:36Yes, Dr. Caldwell.
00:13:37I understand.
00:13:40Thanks for the update.
00:13:44Mom's doing better.
00:13:46The doctor said her blood levels are perfect to start treatment.
00:13:49Oh my god.
00:13:50Things are looking up!
00:13:52Ew.
00:13:54Oh god.
00:13:56Thanks for letting me stay here, Jay.
00:13:59You know, after my dad died,
00:14:01it felt like everyone disappeared.
00:14:03Turns out they liked my money and not me.
00:14:08But you're the real deal.
00:14:11Always, Natalie.
00:14:13They're thick and thin, right?
00:14:15They're thick and thin.
00:14:17Cheers.
00:14:18The service line is in the kitchen.
00:14:31That's where you're going to pick up all of your orders.
00:14:33You'll get two 15-minute breaks every six hours.
00:14:36Unless we're slammed.
00:14:38Remember, our guest's experience is paramount.
00:14:41Stick to the guidelines and you'll be fine.
00:14:43This isn't a diner.
00:14:45It's a dance.
00:14:47Understood.
00:14:49And I'll be straight with you.
00:14:51The interview process here is rigorous.
00:14:53Not sure how you skip the line.
00:14:55But consider this.
00:14:57You get one shot.
00:14:59You blow it, you're out.
00:15:01Look, I appreciate the opportunity.
00:15:13I need you to take this to table 16.
00:15:32Okay.
00:15:33This isn't going to work.
00:15:48Thank you for calling Love On Guard.
00:15:49Where the Bowl dine with luxury wine.
00:15:52Tammy, this is Nate Sinclair.
00:15:54How's the new hire doing?
00:15:55Mr. Sinclair.
00:15:57Can I be honest?
00:16:04Spit it out.
00:16:06She's awful.
00:16:08She can't hold a tray.
00:16:09She can't even greet a table.
00:16:10And she doesn't even know how to take reservations.
00:16:13But...
00:16:15She's got a certain charm.
00:16:19The customers seem to enjoy her company.
00:16:23That's good to hear.
00:16:25Let's keep supporting her, Tammy.
00:16:26She's more capable than you think.
00:16:28I have my doubts.
00:16:30She's clearly out of her depth.
00:16:32This isn't a cherry.
00:16:34Maybe you should be better off in a less demanding environment.
00:16:38Tammy, I've built businesses going off my instincts about people.
00:16:42Natalie's got potential.
00:16:44Let's nurture that potential and not stifle it.
00:16:47And Tammy.
00:16:49Yes, sir?
00:16:51Don't ever question me again.
00:16:55Oh, of course.
00:16:57Hello?
00:16:58Hello?
00:16:59Hello.
00:17:00Where's the mission?
00:17:01What?
00:17:02What?
00:17:03How am I to do it?
00:17:04I'm not gonna be able.
00:17:05What?
00:17:06I'm not gonna be able...
00:17:07Oh, well, my God.
00:17:09Thank you for letting me know I'm gonna be...
00:17:11I'm good.
00:17:14I'm gonna be able to get a little bit off.
00:17:15meeting us here, sir.
00:17:16No, I need you to postpone that.
00:17:18And I need you to postpone everything
00:17:19on my schedule for tomorrow.
00:17:21Even the polo match?
00:17:23Fuck the polo match.
00:17:25Aaron.
00:17:28I need you to check in on St. Joe's Memorial.
00:17:31Natalie's mom is there, Susan.
00:17:32I need to make sure that she's getting
00:17:34the best care that money can buy.
00:17:35Yes, sir.
00:17:45You did good today, kid.
00:17:50I did?
00:17:52No, not really.
00:17:53You're a terrible server.
00:17:54But I'll admit, I had my doubts.
00:17:58But, um, you've got grit.
00:18:01Most would have quit by now.
00:18:03You'll learn the ropes.
00:18:05Thanks, Tammy.
00:18:06I appreciate the tough love.
00:18:09Good.
00:18:10Now go take out the trash.
00:18:13All right, boss.
00:18:21Get back to work.
00:18:38Perfect.
00:18:38Just perfect.
00:18:40Natalie?
00:18:42Natalie Aldridge, is that you?
00:18:44Frank.
00:18:46Claire, Danielle, fancy seeing you here.
00:18:49We just got some sushi.
00:18:50Really high in sushi.
00:18:52Why are you covered in trash?
00:18:56Wait, do you, like, work here?
00:19:00Like, for money?
00:19:02Natalie, the rich chick from Emerald Lane is working
00:19:05a bit late avant-garde.
00:19:06More like lay-a-thon dumpster.
00:19:08If you're willing to take the trash out for some cash,
00:19:12what else are you willing to do for some money?
00:19:16Hey, hey, Natalie, let me help you make it rain.
00:19:18That's enough.
00:19:19Who are you?
00:19:20Her knight?
00:19:21That's billionaire Nate Sinclair, you idiot.
00:19:25Oh my god, hi.
00:19:26I don't care how much money you have.
00:19:27Hey, Frank, just let it go.
00:19:28He can kick your ass.
00:19:29And plus, my dad works for one of his many companies.
00:19:30And I believe your dad does too, doesn't he?
00:19:31Frank Wiener Jr.
00:19:32Frank Wiener Jr.
00:19:33I don't care how much money you have.
00:19:34Hey, Frank, just let it go.
00:19:35He can kick your ass.
00:19:36And plus, my dad works for one of his many companies.
00:19:37And I believe your dad does too, doesn't he?
00:19:38Frank Wiener Jr.
00:19:39It's pronounced whiner.
00:19:40Leave now, all of you.
00:19:41And never harass my employees again.
00:19:42Or your father will face the consequences.
00:19:44I don't care how much money you have.
00:19:45Who are you?
00:19:46Who are you?
00:19:47Who are you?

00:20:10Yeah.
00:20:11Sure you did.
00:20:12Look, I can give you a ride home.
00:20:13No more trash duties.
00:20:14Whatever you say, boss.
00:20:38Hold on, Natalie.
00:20:39Hey, you didn't say a word.
00:20:40Don't tell me why you mean.
00:20:41I can provide my whole bodies, lady.
00:20:42I don't need you to always jump like I'm some damsel in the strips.
00:20:43I'm gonna let you turn my alley into some fight club.
00:20:44I said I had it handled.
00:20:45Yeah, but with violence, that's not the way to do it, Natalie.
00:20:46There's other ways.
00:20:47Who the fuck do you think you are telling me how to handle my life?
00:20:51You came to me if you don't remember that.
00:20:52And maybe we wouldn't be in this situation if you weren't such a mess.
00:20:54Natalie, I'm sorry I said it like that.
00:20:55You know I didn't mean it.
00:20:56I'm sorry too.
00:20:57The truth is, I was just like those jerseys.
00:21:00I can't believe it.
00:21:01I mean, I'm sorry.
00:21:02But I don't want to blame you.
00:21:03You're just like, yo, you're just like, okay?
00:21:05You're just like, okay?
00:21:06I said I had it handled.
00:21:07Yeah, but with violence, that's not the way to do it, Natalie.
00:21:08There's other ways.
00:21:09Who the fuck do you think you are telling me how to handle my life?
00:21:11You came to me if you don't remember that.
00:21:12And maybe we wouldn't be in this situation if you weren't such a mess.
00:21:15Natalie, I'm sorry I said it like that and you know I didn't mean it.
00:21:17I'm sorry too.
00:21:20The truth is, I was just like those jerseys.
00:21:25I can't believe we used to be friends.
00:21:28They weren't your friends.
00:21:30No shit.
00:21:32I could kill them for what they did.
00:21:34When my dad died and the money disappeared, so did they.
00:21:41I met your dad, Jonathan, a few times.
00:21:43He seemed like a good man.
00:21:45He is.
00:21:47It was amazing.
00:21:48The coroner ruled his death a suicide, but I don't believe it.
00:21:56Cops said he had some shady dealings with the mob.
00:21:59The bank seized most of our assets, and the FBI took what was left as evidence.
00:22:04But I won't let them ruin my father's name.
00:22:08Wow, that is a lot.
00:22:11And I'm sorry I reacted that way.
00:22:12I'm just so protective of you.
00:22:18Of my employees.
00:22:19I'm protective of my employees.
00:22:25So, that guy was a pretty big douchebag?
00:22:28Right?
00:22:29Look, Natalie, if there's one thing that I'm good at, it's business.
00:22:35And you are a sure thing.
00:22:37I'd invest everything in you, because I know that you're going to make it out of this.
00:22:41Well, thank you for always being willing to fight my battles, even when I don't want.
00:22:48You can start a fight club in my alley anytime.
00:22:49Hey, babe.
00:22:50I know.
00:22:51I'm sorry.
00:22:52Yes, I'm right outside.
00:22:53I'll be right there.
00:22:54Love you.
00:22:55I'll be right there.
00:22:56Love you.
00:22:57Sorry.
00:22:58I thought it was my friend who was letting me crash here.
00:23:02Yeah, yeah, it's no worries.
00:23:03It's um, it's good that you can crash somewhere.
00:23:04Have a good night.
00:23:05Have a good night.
00:23:06Have a good night.

00:26:00Not gonna lie, feels pretty good to earn this cash.
00:26:05Those are some pretty cute dance moves.
00:26:09Oh, this routine?
00:26:11Just practicing for my next career meet.
00:26:14You know, we've gotta stop meeting like this.
00:26:16Why?
00:26:17This is my best help.
00:26:18I can give you rides.
00:26:19Uh, that's sweet, but my ride's actually here.
00:26:23My roommate Jay and I have dinner plans.
00:26:25Oh.
00:26:26Jay, your roommate.
00:26:27Right.
00:26:28Right.
00:26:29Have a good night.
00:26:30Thanks.
00:26:31Thanks.

00:26:49Thanks.
00:26:50Thanks.
00:26:51To get your feet off my desk.
00:26:52Um, Mr. Sinclair.
00:26:53I'm sorry.
00:26:54What can I do for you?
00:26:55I need you to find out which bank sees Jonathan Aldridge's assets.
00:26:58And get me the lead on this criminal case.
00:27:00Oh, things between you and Natalee are getting serious, eh?
00:27:04No, she's out of the picture.
00:27:05I just need a full rundown.
00:27:06I need the properties, the holdings, the assets, all of it.
00:27:10Sure thing, boss.
00:27:11I'll get you those reports at-
00:27:13Boss?
00:27:14Sure thing, boss. I'll get you those reports at...
00:27:17Boss?
00:27:31Alright, everyone. Let's gather round.
00:27:44What? What? Is there something on my face? What's going on, Demi?
00:27:54Today marks the two-month anniversary since Natalie has been working here with us at Lemon Guard.
00:28:01In just two months, Natalie's gone from probably shouldn't be handling anything sharper than a spoon
00:28:15to our highest earning server and a true leader on the floor.
00:28:23And for that reason, I'm proud to announce that Natalie Aldridge is going to be the new manager of L'Event Garde.
00:28:45But, wait, what would you do?
00:28:47Oh, Mr. Sinclair is opening up a new venue.
00:28:49He wants me to be in charge of the entire operation. General Manager.
00:28:53That is incredible, Demi!
00:28:55Look at how it's in charge of this!
00:29:06Just wanted to thank you again for this opportunity.
00:29:09I've got high hopes for you, kid.
00:29:13Hey, if you haven't hired a chef yet, I know someone incredible.
00:29:18My roommate, Jay. She is a fantastic cook full of innovative ideas for dishes.
00:29:23Well, I'm interviewing some of the top chefs in the country. You think that she can compete with that?
00:29:28Ain't no doubt in my mind that she can.
00:29:31Alright. Well, I've got a small catering gig lined up.
00:29:35Let's see what she's got. I'll give her a shot.
00:29:40Thank you, Tammy. You won't regret this. Jay, we'll blow you away.
00:29:45Well, she's gotta impress me first.
00:29:47Remember, it's your reputation here on the line, too.
00:29:50I won't let you down.
00:30:02Am I not the most beautiful woman you've ever seen?
00:30:05Do things for me! What the hell?
00:30:07Calm down, honey.
00:30:08Don't tell me to calm down!
00:30:10I wanted to go to the British Virgin Islands for our honeymoon!
00:30:13I'm not sure why. You're pretty far from a virgin.
00:30:15Ah!
00:30:16That's not funny, Rick.
00:30:18You promised me a life of luxury.
00:30:20Last night, we had Papa John's for dinner!
00:30:22I had a coupon! What?!
00:30:24Look, I know money's tight.
00:30:26It's not my fault!
00:30:27Ever since my stepdad died, he signed the trust over to Nate!
00:30:30I just need to marry somebody that Nate approves of, and I get half the money.
00:30:34So I just need you to play it fucking cool.
00:30:35Don't tell me how to play it.
00:30:37Your dumb ass is probably chatting up Nate as we speak, getting ready to ruin everything.
00:30:42Don't worry about that! I know how to handle Nate, dog.
00:30:44Bullshit!
00:30:45If you were man enough, you would have the balls to tell him how you really feel so you can get what you want!
00:30:50Ouch, babe. Words hurt, you know.
00:30:53Fuck you.
00:30:54Look, just listen to me for a second.
00:30:55Once I get the trust signed, I'm gonna take you wherever you want to go.
00:30:57The Maldives, Biji, Rancho Cucamonga, you name it.
00:30:59The world is our fucking oyster, babe!
00:31:02I hate oysters.
00:31:05Babe!
00:31:06What lobster are you like, right?
00:31:09Babe!
00:31:18Can you pass me the carrots?
00:31:19Yeah.
00:31:22Ugh.
00:31:23Really, Natalie, I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity.
00:31:26You are gonna shine, girl.
00:31:29You know, you've changed a lot since high school.
00:31:31Really?
00:31:32Hope so.
00:31:33Well, you actually care about people now, so...
00:31:37I didn't realize I was such a jerk.
00:31:39Never!
00:31:40Oh.
00:31:41Well, maybe sometimes.
00:31:42I am curious, though.
00:31:43Whatever happened between you and Nate?
00:31:44For a second, things seemed pretty hot and heavy.
00:31:57I'm not sure.
00:31:59He got swamped with new businesses and stopped offering rights.
00:32:03Doesn't that seem odd to you?
00:32:05Yeah.
00:32:06Maybe.
00:32:07But...
00:32:08We were never serious.
00:32:09It was just a hookup.
00:32:10And in any case, life is too chaotic for romance right now.
00:32:14Yeah.
00:32:15Oh my god.
00:32:16What is it?
00:32:17My assistant.
00:32:18She just bailed.
00:32:19Fucking screwed.
00:32:20I'll be your assistant.
00:32:21No, no, no.
00:32:22I could not ask that of you.
00:32:23I'm such a boss and...
00:32:24Bitch, you're not asking.
00:32:25I'm insisting.
00:32:26I've been here the whole prep, havin' I?
00:32:43I even know where the carrots are.
00:32:44There's something else.
00:32:46This isn't just any party.
00:32:50What is it?
00:32:51A funeral?
00:32:52What is it? A funeral?
00:32:55Kind of. It's Rick and Bianca's engagement party.
00:33:05I'm sorry, I just, I really didn't want to burden you with that.
00:33:09Fuck it. I don't care. I am here for you.
00:33:14Let those two have each other. She can put the Miz in miserable.
00:33:18Besides, your food is going to be the star of the show.
00:33:22Let's go. Let's go.
00:33:26Okay. I'll cheer first.
00:33:28Those drinks are flying. Folks are going to need some food staff.
00:33:34I know, I'm working on it. Can you help me plate the empanadas?
00:33:38Yes.
00:33:40I think I'm going to stay back here with you in the kitchen.
00:33:42Just trying to keep the local phone.
00:33:44Just trying to keep the local phone.
00:33:48Okay.
00:33:49Okay.
00:33:50Okay.
00:33:51Okay.
00:33:52How's that?
00:33:53I know, I'm working on that.
00:33:54I know, I'm working on it. Can you help me plate the empanadas?
00:33:56Yes.
00:33:59I think I'm going to stay back here with you in the kitchen.
00:34:03Just trying to keep a little bit of fun.
00:34:33Is that his mom?
00:34:35Stepmom.
00:34:37She married Nate's father when he was young.
00:34:39Already had Rick by then.
00:34:41Remember it is, Nate never trusted Rebecca.
00:34:44Tried warming her way into the family trust,
00:34:46but Nate's dad had that ironclad.
00:34:49Rick doesn't see a dime unless he marries someone Nate approves of.
00:34:53Did you know this when you were with Rick?
00:34:56You could have married him and had all this?
00:34:59I told Rick I didn't need his money.
00:35:01I was proud to make my own and that's when you changed.
00:35:05Yeah, that's when you get all resentful and angry.
00:35:08Hey, do you guys have any of those piggies in a blanket?
00:35:12Oh.
00:35:14Well, well, well.
00:35:20What the cat dragged in?
00:35:23What are you doing here?
00:35:25I'm hoping my friend to make delicious food for your engagement party.
00:35:29Oh.
00:35:32Did you make this?
00:35:37Oh, that.
00:35:38That is good.
00:35:41Just like the sex we used to have.
00:35:43Guess you could say we were the piggies in a blanket, huh?
00:35:46You're disgusting, Rick.
00:35:48Mmm.
00:35:49So is empanadas going to be ready soon, or...?
00:35:55Hey, I'll check back in 30.
00:35:58Hey, Natalie.
00:35:59I'm a little tipsy.
00:36:01I'm a little tipsy.
00:36:02I'm a little tipsy.
00:36:03I can tell.
00:36:04You're sassy.
00:36:05I love that.
00:36:06That gets me excited.
00:36:07You know, I wish you would have just accepted the trust.
00:36:08It would have been you and me.
00:36:09I prefer to marry for love, not money.
00:36:10Yeah, me too.
00:36:11The love of money.
00:36:12Do you even love Bianca?
00:36:13Of course not.
00:36:14She's facilitating a business transaction.
00:36:15She's a means to an eye.
00:36:16She's a means to an eye.
00:36:17I'm a little tipsy.
00:36:18I'm a little tipsy.
00:36:19I can tell.
00:36:20You're sassy.
00:36:21I love that.
00:36:22That gets me excited.
00:36:23You know, I wish you would have just accepted the trust.
00:36:25It would have been you and me.
00:36:27I prefer to marry for love, not money.
00:36:30Yeah, me too.
00:36:32The love of money.
00:36:33Do you even love Bianca?
00:36:35Of course not.
00:36:37She's facilitating a business transaction.
00:36:40What?
00:36:41She's a means to an eye.
00:36:44What do you say we just do it one more time?
00:36:47Right out here, on the side of the house.
00:36:50No, no, no.
00:36:52You know how good we were together.
00:36:55You're pathetic, Rick.
00:36:56You know, I wish I could go back in time and slap some sense into me forever being with you.
00:37:01If I had a time machine, I'd go back and buy Bitcoin.
00:37:05Good for you.
00:37:06Now get the hell away from me.
00:37:36What are you doing?
00:37:39I was just putting one of your fellow workers' bags under the table.
00:37:44We shouldn't have to look at the help's meager belongings.
00:37:47What are you doing here, Natalie?
00:37:49Trying to win Rick back?
00:37:51You can have Rick, Bianca.
00:37:53I am done with that hillbilly in a suit whose breath smells like an old can of rotten tuna.
00:38:01You should have taken after your father.
00:38:04And hung a ring.
00:38:12Relax, girl.
00:38:14Don't let her get to you.
00:38:16This is Jay's event.
00:38:18You good?
00:38:19I saw you talking to Bianca.
00:38:20She just had to get her raging bitchiness up before rejoining the party.
00:38:29Whoa, whoa, slow down.
00:38:31I'm annoyed.
00:38:32I'm starving.
00:38:33God, these appetizers are delicious.
00:38:36Mmm.
00:38:37Um.
00:38:38Oh.
00:38:39Hello.
00:38:40I'll give you guys a minute.
00:38:43Yes.
00:38:44Uh-huh.
00:38:45Uh-huh.
00:38:46Uh-huh.
00:38:47Adorable.
00:38:48Yes.
00:38:49Sorry.
00:38:50I had a mouthful of meat.
00:38:51Happens all the time.
00:38:52Oh, yeah?
00:38:53Only on the weekends.
00:38:54Thanks for setting my mom up at St. Joe's.
00:38:56And...
00:38:57I'm sorry.
00:38:58I'm sorry.
00:38:59I'm sorry.
00:39:00I'm sorry.
00:39:01I'm sorry.
00:39:02I'm sorry.
00:39:03I'm sorry.
00:39:04I'm sorry.
00:39:05I'm sorry.
00:39:06I'm sorry.
00:39:07I'm sorry.
00:39:08I'm sorry.
00:39:09I'm sorry.
00:39:10I'm sorry.
00:39:11I'm sorry.
00:39:12I'm sorry.
00:39:13I'm sorry.
00:39:14And for the flowers.
00:39:15My mom loved them.
00:39:16Oh, yeah.
00:39:17She's doing well?
00:39:18Yeah.
00:39:19She has one more procedure and then she'll be home.
00:39:21Okay.
00:39:22That's good.
00:39:23And I heard about your promotion.
00:39:24Yes.
00:39:25Congratulations.
00:39:27I am very close to paying you back.
00:39:28Hmm.
00:39:29Oh, you don't need to worry about that.
00:39:30I won't see my goons after you.
00:39:32Just yet.
00:39:33Nate!
00:39:34Nate!
00:39:35Where are you?
00:39:36Oh, goddammit.
00:39:37There's my stepmom.
00:39:38I gotta go run.
00:39:39She's on the hunt.
00:39:40It was good to see you.
00:39:41Good to see you, too.
00:39:44What's wrong?
00:39:45God, I just had the worst stomach cramp.
00:39:46I hope it's not the food.
00:39:47No, no.
00:39:48Of course not.
00:39:49God, I've been nauseous all morning.
00:39:50Oh, god, it's been coming in waves.
00:39:51Come on.
00:39:52It's time for the toast.
00:39:53Okay.
00:39:54Let's go.
00:39:55Hello, everyone.
00:39:56Hello, everyone.
00:39:57Can I have your attention, please?
00:39:58My little Ricky has an announcement to make.
00:40:00I have a little gift I'd like to give my bride to be.
00:40:01Oh, honey, you shouldn't have.
00:40:02Oh, I know.
00:40:03But I did.
00:40:04Come on, it's time for the toast.
00:40:15Hello everyone, can I have your attention please?
00:40:18My little Ricky has an announcement to make!
00:40:24I have a little gift I'd like to give my bride to be.
00:40:27Oh honey, you shouldn't have!
00:40:29Oh I know, but I did!
00:40:34And it's a Lamborghini!
00:40:39Of course he gave her my car.
00:40:43Who wants to watch me take this baby for a spin?
00:40:53Oh my god!
00:40:54What the hell?
00:40:55It's been stolen!
00:41:03Everybody shut the fuck up!
00:41:05Hello officer?
00:41:06Yes, we should have a Lamborghini stolen from the driveway.
00:41:08Yes, this is Rick Sullivan.
00:41:10There's a tracker on it, yes.
00:41:11Okay, thank you officer.
00:41:13Okay, the police are on their way.
00:41:15I paid extra for the GPS tracker, don't worry.
00:41:18Nobody moves until they get here.
00:41:19We are going to get to the bottom of this.
00:41:21Thank God.
00:41:22Mr. Sullivan?
00:41:23Awesome.
00:41:25Good news, we found your car.
00:41:26Where is it?
00:41:27Well, unfortunately your car had a run in with a Louisville Slugger.
00:41:31That's a baseball bat, ma'am.
00:41:32I know what it is!
00:41:33My baby!
00:41:34Why would you give me the bad news first?
00:41:35Sorry, force of habit.
00:41:36Listen, is there anyone that would want to do this to you?
00:41:37The only one here at this party who would have any motive to do such a thing is Natalie.
00:41:38You think I did this?
00:41:39Your fraudulent father lost the family fortune and then killed himself.
00:41:40Then you lost your man to me.
00:41:41You have nothing to do!
00:41:42That's the only one here at this party who would have any motive to do such a thing is Natalie.
00:42:00You think I did this?
00:42:03Your fraudulent father lost the family fortune and then killed himself.
00:42:06Then you lost your man to me. You have nothing.
00:42:09You own nothing.
00:42:11So yeah, I think you did this.
00:42:13I've known Natalie for years. She's never stolen a thing.
00:42:16Except my heart.
00:42:17So you're telling me you never wanted that car?
00:42:20I couldn't give two shits.
00:42:22Strange. I swear I could remember you begging for it.
00:42:25Oh, it's true, Natalie. I do recall you here begging a few days ago.
00:42:28Yeah, because it was mine. I bought it. Why would I destroy it?
00:42:32Because you could never have it.
00:42:33Uh-huh. Officer, I've heard all I needed to hear.
00:42:36Arrest this bitch.
00:42:38Arrest this bitch.
00:42:45We have a motive, but need more evidence.
00:42:49Hold on. My deputy just sent me this photo.
00:42:52The car thief broke the keychain and left the other half in the ignition.
00:42:58Search her purse.
00:42:59Search it. I have nothing to hide.
00:43:14Miss Aldridge, I'm placing you under arrest for violating Penal Code 467.
00:43:20Grand Theft Auto.
00:43:22You have the right to remain silent.
00:43:23Do you understand these rights as I've read them to you?
00:43:29Oh my god, that's Natalie Aldridge.
00:43:32I heard she went like totally broke after her father committed suicide.
00:43:36Can you believe she's now working as a waitress at her ex-fix?
00:43:39I would literally kill myself.
00:43:49Where did it all go from?
00:44:01No. Listen, I've explained this a million times.
00:44:04There are deposits missing.
00:44:07Well, the banks are wrong.
00:44:08Money just doesn't disappear like this.
00:44:12I handled the ledger myself.
00:44:15You know what?
00:44:15I'll get to the bottom of this.
00:44:17I will not have my reputation right through the mud.
00:44:22Fuck!
00:44:34What are you doing here?
00:44:44FBI, ma'am.
00:44:57We're here to arrest your father on fraud charges.
00:44:59Now, where is he?
00:45:00What?
00:45:03No, no. You've got it all wrong. He wouldn't.
00:45:05We'll let a jury decide that. Now, please step out of the way, ma'am.
00:45:07No, no. Wait.
00:45:09Officers, wait. No, officers.
00:45:12Looks like we're too late.
00:45:14It's a suicide.
00:45:19No.
00:45:31Oh, my God.
00:45:37No, no, no, no, no.
00:45:39No.
00:45:44No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:46:06You're afraid to go.
00:46:09What?
00:46:09The charges have been dropped.
00:46:11I see you found the shank that I put inside that loaf of bread.
00:46:20I'm not in the mood for your prison stand-up set right now.
00:46:36Sorry. It was bad timing.
00:46:38I didn't do this, Nate.
00:46:40I know that you didn't.
00:46:42It's obvious that Bianca and Rick were framing you, and I never even trusted Rebecca.
00:46:48So I got them to drop the charges.
00:46:52Wait, really?
00:46:52Mm-hmm.
00:46:54How?
00:46:55I had to make a trade-off.
00:46:57I had to approve Bianca and Rick's wedding.
00:46:59Fuck.
00:47:01Oh, this is all my fault.
00:47:03I'm sorry.
00:47:03I caused you so many problems.
00:47:05No problem.
00:47:06You didn't cause any trouble.
00:47:09You have brought a spark into my life that I didn't even know was missing.
00:47:14I mean, don't you see?
00:47:15You see, your determination and your honesty, it's inspired me.
00:47:24And you are truly one of a kind, Natalie Aldridge.
00:47:29Natalie.
00:47:30You okay?
00:47:32Natalie.
00:47:38We need a doctor!
00:47:45Hey, hey, hey, Natalie.
00:47:48You're fine.
00:47:49You're just at the doctor.
00:47:50You were dehydrated.
00:47:51Now they're giving you fluids.
00:47:53The doc said you'll be fine.
00:47:57Oh my god, you're alive.
00:47:59Of course I am, Jay.
00:48:01You can't get rid of me that easy.
00:48:04Wait, wait.
00:48:05This is Jay?
00:48:06The one that you always talk about?
00:48:08That's her.
00:48:10Yep.
00:48:10She's the incredible chef that I've been telling you about.
00:48:13Jaylene.
00:48:14Yeah, but people call me Jay.
00:48:18I'm just glad that you're not a guy.
00:48:22Did I miss something?
00:48:24Not at all.
00:48:26It's nice to meet you, Jay.
00:48:27I've heard great things.
00:48:30And I hope you accept the chef job at my new restaurant.
00:48:34Yeah, I was going to tell you about the party,
00:48:35but little Miss Klepto stole the show.
00:48:38Literally.
00:48:40I owe you so hard.
00:48:42Oh, stop.
00:48:44Look, you did this yourself.
00:48:46Well, I'm going to go.
00:48:47Looks like you're in good hands.
00:48:49Hey, can we talk later?
00:48:52Of course.
00:48:54I'm always here.
00:48:56Girl, you need to lock that down.
00:48:58Well, Natalie, everything looks good.
00:49:05Uh, you just over-exerted yourself today.
00:49:09However, I did a little blood work and, um...
00:49:11We should talk about this a lot.
00:49:14No, these are my best friends.
00:49:28All right.
00:49:28Uh, have you been feeling nauseous lately?
00:49:32Yeah, and honestly, really hungry.
00:49:36I was chowing down appetizers at the party.
00:49:40We found HCG in your blood.
00:49:43Oh my god, is that serious?
00:49:45It means you're pregnant.
00:49:51Oh, I need a drink.
00:49:57Kidding.
00:49:59I'm kidding.
00:50:00You should probably make an appointment with the OBGYN on the way out.
00:50:08I'll give you some time.
00:50:16Oh, how are you feeling?
00:50:19Excited?
00:50:21Terrified?
00:50:22Everything in between?
00:50:23What do you think?
00:50:24I think we're gonna make some bitchin' odds.
00:50:30But who's the father?
00:50:32Unless you don't know.
00:50:33Oh, I know who it is.
00:50:37I just don't know what to do.
00:50:47Whoever the father is, you just have to be honest with them.
00:50:54Who is that?
00:51:06Mom?
00:51:07Nate?
00:51:08What are you guys doing here?
00:51:10Your friend Nate called me and took me out for a nice lunch.
00:51:13He said he wanted to get to know me.
00:51:15He's a real gentleman.
00:51:17They don't make them like him.
00:51:20Oh, thank you.
00:51:21How did you get my mom's number?
00:51:23You put her as your emergency contact on your application at the restaurant?
00:51:28I'm honored.
00:51:30Mom, you need your rest.
00:51:32You have your final treatment coming soon.
00:51:34You need your strength.
00:51:35Oh, hush.
00:51:35I'm not dead yet.
00:51:37Also, he has a surprise for you.
00:51:53You don't have to get me anything.
00:51:59You've already done enough.
00:52:01What?
00:52:02You don't like surprises?
00:52:03Everyone likes surprises.
00:52:05I hope you like them too.
00:52:06What was that?
00:52:07Nothing.
00:52:11You know, something crossed my mind the other day when I was sitting next to you in the hospital,
00:52:17you know, watching you sleep.
00:52:18Not in a creepy way, but something where I just hadn't felt that way in a long time.
00:52:23What's that?
00:52:27Desperation.
00:52:29True desperation.
00:52:31When there's only one thing that you need, one thing that you want.
00:52:35I was just so desperate to see you recover, to have us hang out again.
00:52:39So desperate that,
00:52:43Henley, I think I'm falling in love with you.
00:52:46I, I, I don't know what to say.
00:52:53What's your surprise?
00:52:55I'm pregnant.
00:52:56What?
00:52:58I'm pregnant.
00:53:02And it's, it's mine?
00:53:04Of course, it's yours.
00:53:05It's only been you.
00:53:09I, I mean, you do remember that night.
00:53:16Yeah, we did break the fuck out of the bed.
00:53:19And the hot tub.
00:53:22And the balcony.
00:53:23Yes.
00:53:24And the hotel.
00:53:27I do.
00:53:28The ballpark.
00:53:29Ballpark.
00:53:31Jen's testing you.
00:53:35Are you okay?
00:53:42Yeah.
00:53:42Yeah, I, I'm going to be having a child with you.
00:53:47Yeah.
00:54:02Why are we here?
00:54:03Why are we here?
00:54:04This is your surprise.
00:54:11This is my childhood home.
00:54:12The government seized it.
00:54:13I know.
00:54:15I pulled a few strings.
00:54:18And now the home is all yours.
00:54:23Ah.
00:54:33Everything looks the same, but new.
00:54:40I made sure of it.
00:54:42Down to the last detail.
00:54:44Even your mom's pasta salad in the fridge.
00:54:46Ooh, my mom was a terrible cook.
00:54:49Why would you do all this?
00:54:54I'm enamored by you, Natalie.
00:55:01By the way that you treat your friends.
00:55:04Everyone.
00:55:05Hell, you even started at the bottom of the restaurant.
00:55:08And now you're running the whole damn show.
00:55:09Yeah.
00:55:13Very special to me.
00:55:13And when you got out of the hospital, I wanted to make sure that you never feel pain again.
00:55:20Wait.
00:55:32Wait, what about Rick?
00:55:34He's my ex.
00:55:35He's your brother.
00:55:36Step.
00:55:37End.
00:55:39Okay.
00:55:40Yeah.
00:55:40We could just take us home.
00:55:43Yeah.
00:55:44Not that slow.
00:55:55Oh.
00:55:58Hold on.

01:07:52How'd you know?
01:07:53I remember seeing this scarf next to a chair in my dad's office, and later it was gone.
01:07:59I thought maybe the cops grabbed it, or maybe the person who left it.
01:08:03What are you insinuating?
01:08:04You were the first person to visit me the day my dad died.
01:08:18I didn't even call you.
01:08:20And you were wearing this scarf.

01:09:01I knew if we fledged his ledger, it would look like a suicide.
01:09:07He would go broke.
01:09:09Rick would marry me, and it would just be the icing on my bank account.
01:09:14Did Rick help you?
01:09:16Rick is a fucking idiot.
01:09:18Rick can plan a tubing trip downstream with his frat bros.
01:09:21You really think he could mastermind a frame job in murder?
01:09:24Someone had to help you.
01:09:27Your mother.
01:09:28She's the mastermind.
01:09:33Good job, Scooby dumbass.
01:09:43So what, you're going to kill me now?
01:09:45My mother will fix it.

01:10:16Hey.
01:10:17Hey, you're okay.
01:10:18You lost a ton of blood, but the knife missed all the important organs.
01:10:21Hey. Hey. Hey, you're okay. You lost a ton of blood but the knife missed all the important
01:10:30organs. And um, what about Bianca? She's in custody. They caught her mom at the airport
01:10:40trying to flee. They're going away for a long time. My father's name is cleared and all
01:10:46of our assets are recovered. It's no longer in evidence. Well, it looks like it's all over
01:10:54then. Greed can really ruin everything. It can always destroy both our families. But it
01:11:03didn't destroy us. And I promise to never let anything come in between us.
01:11:11Nate. Yes. Everything looks good. Your vitals are stable. You're clear to go home. I just
01:11:20want you to take it easy. Yes, doctor. Natalie, your mother is just recovering
01:11:24from her procedure. She's just down the hall. Would you like to see her?
01:11:34How are you feeling, mom? Oh, like I got run over by a train.
01:11:38Your mother is officially cancer free. I have never seen anyone bounce back so quickly.
01:11:44Thanks, doc. Knock, knock. What are you doing here? I'll give you some privacy.
01:11:51I came to apologize. I got caught up in all of this. You sure did. I just want you to know,
01:12:02I agreed to turn state's evidence against Bianca and tell them everything I know. They'll be going
01:12:08away for a long time. I know this might not change anything, but hopefully it's a start.
01:12:16We appreciate that, Rick. Are you really going to marry my brother?
01:12:25Yep. And you're going to be an uncle. Step-uncle.
01:12:31Everyone, I just want to thank Nate for helping me open up my very own restaurant, Jay on the Bay.
01:12:49We open in a month. Uh, what's wrong?
01:12:56This is my doctor.
01:12:58Dr. Caldwell? Yes.
01:13:02What do you mean doc? Are you sure?
01:13:06The doctor made a mistake on the ultrasound.
01:13:13I understand. Thanks for calling.
01:13:15Is everything okay?
01:13:19How do you feel about twins?
01:13:21What?
01:13:31Cheers!
01:13:45Cheers!

Same story as an earlier one, same leading man, but still cute.. this time “Nate” is not so serious, but with more humor. The earlier version it was the female lead with all of the personality. Both are fun in their own way. 8/10.
