00:09Duterte says, quote,

00:10There are no statements of ultimate facts in the fourth impeachment complaint.

00:14Stripped of its factual and legal conclusions, it is nothing more than a scrap of paper.

00:18The vice president also says she cannot be compelled to answer the impeachment articles

00:22that the Senate returned to the House of Representatives.

00:25Her answer reads, quote,

00:26One fact is clear, there are no articles of impeachment presently with this court.

00:31In her response, Duterte reiterates her arguments in her Supreme Court petition,

00:35saying that the House violated the constitutional one-year ban when it impeached her through a fourth petition.

00:41Duterte also insists the delay in sending the complaints to the Speaker's office

00:45was done on purpose to avoid triggering the one-year bar rule.

00:49She also claims her alleged threat to the president during an online broadcast were, quote,

00:53Exaggerations and speculations that are not supported by evidence.

00:58Duterte asserts that, quote,

00:59No final decision exists on the allegation that her handling of confidential funds was illegal or unconscionable.
