00:00We're just really good friends.
00:01Yeah, it's true.
00:02Everything.
00:03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:04I love their dynamic.
00:06They are such good friends.
00:08I love that they, the way that they can sort of tease each other,
00:12the way they understand each other deeply.
00:14I think it's just, it is a really full, well-rounded marriage.
00:18It's been a joy to play.
00:19And it's been, it was fun this last season
00:21to play that marriage under a little bit of threat, too.
00:23Yeah, it was very destabilizing, Pertha,
00:25which I always enjoy showing her vulnerability
00:28and the cracks in the armor.
00:29And I had a lot of opportunity to do that this season
00:31because of the challenge at home.
00:33I also love, my favorite part is when they're,
00:35when they're like fighting,
00:36but they still show up and do the thing
00:37they say they're going to do, which feels so real to me.
00:40Well, when you've set your mind on a thing,
00:42no one can stop you.
00:43I take that as a compliment.
00:44Very easily.
00:45Whenever Morgan texts me, I call him.
00:48Yeah, that's true.
00:49I'm a, I'm a texter.
00:50I've got that.
00:51And I'm just like, talk to me, Morgan.
00:52Yeah, but we do.
00:53We have little, we have check-ins.
00:54It's nice.
00:55Yeah.
00:55And our children are the same age.
00:57So we're also, you know,
00:57as, and we both have partners with careers.
01:00So we are very much in similar positions
01:02in terms of finding balance inside of all of that.
01:05And so we're just really good friends.
01:07Yeah, it's true.
01:08Yeah.
01:09Enormously.
01:09I mean, you, you put on those clothes
01:10and they, they affect how you carry yourself.
01:12They affect your, the, the, the way you breathe.
01:15I mean, they, they're,
01:16there's a lot of storytelling that's in those clothes
01:18and the way, not just the way the audience sees them,
01:20but the way they affect our bodies.
01:21So yeah.
01:22And it's, it's the, it's the clothes,
01:23it's the production design.
01:24It's the spaces that we're playing in.
01:26Um, but yeah, all of that stuff
01:28does a tremendous amount of work for us.
01:30I think, yeah.
01:30Merit Weaver, who comes on this season
01:32to play my sister and I'm so delightful to have her.
01:34And she's such a truthful actor
01:35and she articulated it so well.
01:37She, she said she was really feeling,
01:39you know, destabilized the first couple of days.
01:41She was discovering like,
01:42just how narrow that space is
01:43where it's not too theatrical,
01:45but it's not too small
01:46that you're not inhabiting the spaces and the customs.
01:48I'm always looking to do something
01:50that actually expands my work
01:52beyond what, what I've done before,
01:54which is hard to do.
01:54I mean, Hollywood is not an imaginative business.
01:57It's a creative business,
01:58but it's not an imaginative one.
01:59So it's easy for us to get typecast.
02:01And, um, you know, I find that like,
02:03I wish we could play something other than mothers.
02:05That would be really refreshing.
02:07I love being a mom.
02:07It's great.
02:08It's a huge part of my life,
02:09but it's not the only thing that I'm interested in.
02:11You know, I love being a mom,
02:26I love being a mom.
02:27You know, I love being a mom,
02:28so I love being a mom.
