The Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton had his Game 7 cut short after suffering a brutal ACL injury against OKC
Transcript
00:00My heart dropped for him.
00:01Like, I couldn't imagine playing the biggest game of my life
00:04and something like that happening.
00:05It's so unfortunate. It's not fair.
00:07What happened with Tyrese is just all of our hearts dropped.
00:30He did some incredible things, like this whole playoff run and this year.
00:36And, yeah, I'm just super proud of him.
00:40Obviously, you know, it hurts.
00:41It hurts because we couldn't get it done, you know,
00:45and I wanted it so bad for him and just because I know that, you know,
00:50he gave us everything.
00:51I want to say I hope Tyrese is okay.
00:53I haven't, like, looked at my phone or anything to, like, see what the thing is.
00:57Obviously, that changes the outcome of the game a little bit
00:59or just changes, like, the dynamic of the game.
01:00It was a tough, tough feeling to see your franchise guy go down like that.
01:08But to have to move on and kind of compartmentalize it is tough.
01:12Such respect for the way they play, the way they're coached.
01:17Prayers to Halliburton, obviously, that was incredibly unfortunate.
01:21He authored one of the great individual playoff runs
01:28in the history of the NBA with dramatic play after dramatic play.
01:34It was just something that no one's ever seen.
01:37I just felt so bad for him.
01:39They just asked if he was okay.
01:41Obviously, he wasn't.
01:42But prayers go out to him for sure.
01:43I love a player.
01:45Future's bright.
01:46That team's going to be really good for a long time.
01:48Yeah, impressive team, impressive player.
01:51Wishing the best of luck.
