00:00Well, also joining me on the programme now is Nogol Tanapalski, our correspondent who joins us now from Jerusalem.
00:05Nogol, once again, there have been attacks, haven't there, over the last few hours on Israeli sites.
00:11Bring us up to date with the latest that you're hearing.
00:15There have been almost non-stop sirens, to be honest, throughout Israel since the morning.
00:21In particular, the north was hard hit, and then the south, where an Israel Electric Company facility appears to have suffered a direct hit via a missile.
00:33Iran announced that it changed its tactics in barrages towards Israel, and that has been very clearly felt in Israel today.
00:42So that instead of, for example, a barrage of 40 missiles aimed all over the country, what they seem to be doing now is aiming more precise missiles, or aiming them with greater precision, to different places around the country.
00:59So Israel has more, seems to have had more trouble today.
01:04Let's say eight or different, eight or ten different cities are targeted, but with just one missile, three or four missiles aimed at Tel Aviv, for example, that the missile defence systems can handle.
01:24So it's been a very, I'd say, a raucous day, and Iran did announce that it was targeting the Dimona facility, suspected by the whole world to be a nuclear facility in Israel.
01:38To my knowledge, what was hit was an Israel Electric Corporation, a major generating plant, and that impacted many thousands of people who were left without electricity for a number of hours.
01:50And Nogarul, all this comes, of course, as Benjamin Netanyahu weighs up how many strikes he's going to continue to carry out on Iran as well.
02:00We've been hearing about Israeli warplanes now hitting or striking into the, once again, the Forvo nuclear side.
02:09That's right, and that's very intriguing, because it would lead one to think that Israel understands that Fordow, the plant in Fordow, or the uranium enrichment facility there, has not been completely demolished.
02:27Or they believe that key scientific figures may still be there and are trying to get them.
02:33That is really an intriguing Israeli target.
02:36The other one that I think is worrisome on several levels is Israel has bombed the gates to Evin prison in Tehran.
02:45This is a notorious prison where political dissidents are held and, in many cases, tortured.
02:51What the Israeli army acknowledges this and says that this is part of its efforts to strike at symbols of the oppression, of the oppressive state, symbols of the oppression of the Iranian people.
03:06I don't know if the Israeli authorities think that this way they will get the hearts and minds of Iranians, but I am certain that for families who have prisoners stuck there, including foreigners,
03:19at least two French citizens who are being held there in force charges, this is a terrifying moment.
