00:0086 injured this morning across three different strike sites within Israel, in Tel Aviv, in
00:07Nesiona, and up in Haifa, where an IDF interceptor actually fell and caused some injuries.
00:13Several Iranian launchers were taken out this morning during that process. However,
00:18they're obviously still able to fire and do damage. By the way, all of these continuing
00:22to hit civilian sites. No military sites have been struck in Israel, which is part of the
00:27complaint coming from Jerusalem. There's also a diplomatic war battle going on right now,
00:32and I think that has been more successful on Israel's front, because we look at reaction
00:37across the Middle East today, and it's been fairly tempered. Saudi Arabia put out a statement about
00:43the alarm vis-a-vis the American strikes last night and concern. The Qataris did the same,
00:50but not a whole lot of pushback, not a whole lot of condemnation. Everybody quietly, it seems,
00:55understanding that this needed to be done. Nobody's celebrating out in the open,
01:00but nobody really pushing back as if the Americans are going to be responsible for
01:06breaking out World War III here. I think that's more important than anything. If this had happened
01:11years ago, I think the reaction from the Arab world, from the Muslim world, would have been much
01:15different. We're seeing the traditional American allies, yes, pushing back a little bit, but more
01:20for their own domestic bases rather than an international front. I think from that standpoint,
01:25Jerusalem has a leg up.
01:26That's a really good point, Mike. The Secretary of Defense moments ago was asked directly,
01:32was one of the goals of this military operation by the United States regime change? He pointedly
01:38said no, but it's been widely reported that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been
01:44pushing the United States and President Trump to execute this mission that went ahead last night.
01:49Does that continue to be a goal of Israel from the Netanyahu's perspective?
01:56Not sure if it's necessarily a goal. I don't think Netanyahu and anybody within the Prime
02:01Minister's office or Knesset will shed a tear if the regime is eliminated. But don't forget,
02:06that causes a whole host of other concerns. We heard J.D. Vance just a moment ago here on American
02:11television saying that regime change is not something that the Americans are looking for here,
02:16that they're not at war with Iran, that they're at war with Iran's nuclear program. Well, if that's
02:21the case, if they're at war with the nuclear program and the nuclear program is indeed eliminated and
02:27we're waiting for more clarification as to the effects of the strikes last night, then one would
02:31figure that would be the end of American involvement going forward unless Iran retaliates against
02:37American bases and American interests in the region, which is something else to discuss as well here.
02:43But I don't think that the United—or rather, Israel, having gotten what they got so far from
02:48the Trump administration, is going to want to push more and risk backlash from the White House and
02:55risk, you know, sensing a lack of gratitude, lack of loyalty. We've heard those things before from
03:00Donald Trump. If this is what Jerusalem got from the White House last night, I don't think they're
03:05going to be pushing for regime change just for the sake of it at this point and wind up spending
03:10unnecessary political capital on that particular topic. All right, we are at the very beginning of
03:15this story, but Mike Weigham, we appreciate you joining us in the White House this morning. He is the
03:20Washington-based correspondent for the Jewish News Syndicate. We've got much more ahead for you this
03:26Sunday morning as we continue. A big thank you there to Tom Fitzgerald and our Fox 5 DC team for their
03:32coverage. We will be dipping in and out of that as they touch on everything related to those U.S.
03:38strikes on the Iranian nuclear facilities, the three key facilities hit by the U.S. really just hours ago,
03:45if you think about it here. We did hear from the spokesperson, the secretary for the Department of
03:51Defense, Pete Hegseth, just about 30 minutes ago as he provided much more information alongside the
03:58chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Raisin Cain. If you did miss that, we'll play it
04:04for you a little bit later on in full, but you can also find it on our YouTube page. Just go to YouTube

06:48Welcome back here on Live Now from Fox.
06:50My name is Josh Breslow, and I've been here for the past several hours to bring you everything
06:55related to the U.S. strikes there on Iran, as President Trump does say that those Iranian
07:01sites have been completely obliterated.
07:05Now, we are getting reaction coming in from all over the world, and I do want to pop this
07:09up on your screen right here.
07:10As this just came in from the president of Iran, he says, quote,
07:15This aggression showed that the United States is the primary instigator of the Zionist regime's
07:21hostile actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
07:25Although they initially tried to deny their role after our armed forces' decisive and deterrent
07:31response and the Zionist regime's clear incapacity, they were inevitably forced to enter the field
07:37themselves.
07:38Again, that statement here just coming in from Iran's president.
07:42We have not received a statement from Iran's supreme leader just yet, but I imagine we
07:46will get one on social media coming up in just a bit.
07:50I also want to take you out to this post right here from Rapid Response 47 for President Trump.
07:56As we do see, during that news conference, the Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, quote,
08:02This mission was not and has not been about regime change.
08:06The president authorized a precision operation to neutralize the threats to our national interests
08:12posed by the Iranian nuclear program.
08:16Lucas Tomlinson over at Fox News, a friend of the show here, saying that the chairman of the
08:20Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Raisin-Kane says that some B-2s flew over the Pacific as
08:27decoys after leaving the U.S., but seven of them were then sent, quote, unquote, quietly to
08:33the east with, quote, minimal communications to strike.
08:37Those are those deception tactics that you heard the chairman kind of talking about during that
08:43news conference there.
08:44Again, we are getting a lot of reaction coming in from all over the country here in the U.S.,
08:49as well as all over the world.
08:52We're going to have some of those other statements coming up here in just a bit.
08:56I do want to take you out to this live look over the White House, as we let you know that as of
09:01right now, the White House says President Trump does not have any news conferences, any public
09:07events that are scheduled for today.
09:09However, if that does change and we get anything, even one of those press gaggles where they do kind
09:15of gather around Air Force One and ask him questions, any of that, you'll be able to watch
09:20right here on Live Now from Fox.
09:23Also do want to take you out to this post right here.
09:26This is actually the question that we have been posing for you all throughout the morning,
09:30and you can see one of the options has an overwhelming majority.
09:34The question is, President Trump ordered those U.S. strikes in Iran.
09:39Was that, in your opinion, a good idea?
09:42All you have to do to vote is scan that QR code top right-hand side of your screen, or
09:47go to LiveNowFox.com slash connect to cast your vote.
09:51As of right now, 87 percent of y'all at home do say yes, 13 percent say no, and I can tell
09:58you, we have thousands upon thousands of votes that have been cast over the past several
10:04hours.
10:05Also want to pop this up on your screen right here.
10:07This is coming in from the New York Post, as Hegseth does hail those Iran strikes as,
10:12quote, an incredible and overwhelming success, and he does say soldiers were not hit.
10:19He does have those photos that were posted as well.
10:22You can see before the strikes and then after.
10:24We also have the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, who says Iran's nuclear program
10:30is a grave threat to international security, and Canada has been consistently clear that
10:36Iran can never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon.
10:40That is the same language that we have heard from so many officials here and will continue
10:45to hear.
10:46We do have to step away for our final two-minute commercial break of the hour, but so much more
10:51news to get to as we cover the latest here on those U.S. strikes on Iran.
10:56You're watching Live Now from Fox.

13:07Welcome back here on Live Now from Fox.
13:14We are approaching the top of the hour here, 855 on the East Coast and 555 on the West Coast.
13:21My name is Josh Breslow, and I'm here to bring you all of your top stories and live events from across the country and across the world.
13:28And we do, of course, continue to cover everything related to those U.S. strikes on the Iranian nuclear facilities
13:35that President Trump does say have obliterated all three of those key sites.
13:41I do want to take you out to this live image that we do have over London as we are gathering information on a story that is coming out of there.
13:49Reuters providing a little bit in the way of detail, saying that London police say they've charged seven Iranians with grievous bodily harm after a reported fight at a protest near the embassy.
14:02London's Metropolitan Police said that they had been alerted to an apparent fight outside the Iranian embassy Friday,
14:09which local media reported occurred during a protest against the Iranian leadership.
14:15The Reuters Daily Briefing newsletter provides all the news here.
14:18So here's what we got.
14:19Police said eight people were arrested in connection with the incident, including one man who was in the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
14:29We also know another man was hospitalized.
14:33Seven of those arrested were charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
14:37That's according to police.
14:39They wrote that in a statement and said, quote, all are Iranian nationals.
14:44Police said they had been remanded in custody ahead of a court appearance on Monday.
14:48That's tomorrow.
14:49The eighth person was still in a hospital and had been bailed.
14:53That is, again, according to that brief police statement.
14:55We are working to gather some more details on all of that and we'll bring you more information as we do get it.
15:02But, again, we are taking a live look over London as police say they have charged seven Iranians with grievous bodily harm after a fight at a protest near the embassy.
15:13We'll keep you updated here as we get more information.
15:17All right.
15:17So if you were watching a bit earlier, we did hear from Iran's foreign minister providing some fairly lengthy comments
15:24and answering questions from members of the media.
15:27All of it was in English and, of course, related to the U.S. strikes.
15:30I do want to play that for you here on Live Now from Fox.
15:34On the other side of that, Karela Hara will be in the hot seat with everything you need to know about those strikes on Iran.
15:41You're watching Live Now from Fox.
15:43Let's take a listen.
15:44Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.
16:03Very good morning to you, ladies and gentlemen.
16:06I'm so glad to be with you this morning.
16:08Actually, we invited you yesterday.
