Babbar Khalsa module busted in Punjab’s Amritsar, 6 sophisticated weapons recovered

Amritsar (Punjab), June 21, 2025 (ANI): On recovering 6 sophisticated weapons along with one accused arrested who was connected with Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Pak- based terror Harinder Rinda, the Commissioner of Amritsar Police, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the module linked to Babbar Khalsa was busted and 6 sophisticated weapons were recovered. He said, "We have busted a terror module linked to Babbar Khalsa. 6 sophisticated weapons have been recovered, and one ground-level operative, Omkar Singh has been arrested. His interrogation revealed that these weapons were pushed across the international border through drones. He was to further distribute them on the directions of Dharam Singh alias Dharma Sandhu, a UK-based terrorist from Dhanoa, Amritsar Rural. Dharma Sandhu is a close associate of Harvinder Rinda and is actively involved in Babbar Khalsa activities, including luring the youth into such activities..."
