LIVE | Trump Issues Ultimatum To Iran | Israel Iran War Updates | Netanyahu | Khamenei | N18G

US President Donald Trump’s self-imposed two-week delay to decide whether to strike Iran has sparked confusion and conjecture in Israel.

Some of Israel’s most senior officials had openly pushed for US involvement, arguing that American military involvement can shorten the conflict and allow Israel to achieve its goal of removing what it has long perceived as an existential threat of a nuclear Iran armed with ballistic missiles.

00:00Thank you very much, everybody.
00:22And thank you to Vice President Vance.
00:24And thank you to our wonderful First Lady.
00:28And above all, thank you to the greatest, fiercest,
00:32and bravest fighting force ever to stride the face of
00:36this Earth, the United States Army.
00:39Thank you very much.
00:45Because the Army keeps us free, you make us strong.
00:49And tonight, you have made all Americans very proud.
00:54They're watching from all over the world, actually.
00:57Made them all very proud.
00:59Every other country celebrates their victories.
01:02It's about time.
01:04America did, too.
01:06That's what we're doing tonight.
01:07And watching this magnificent display, our
01:14souls are filled with gratitude for every
01:17generation of warriors who have worn the uniform all
01:20the way back to the very beginning.
01:23So, to every veteran across our land and right here in
01:27our nation's capital, including six recipients of
01:31the Congressional Medal of Honor, we love you, we
01:34honor you, and we salute your noble service to our
01:38flag and to our country.
01:41As we celebrate tonight, we also think of the hundreds
01:45of thousands of Army soldiers who have made the
01:48supreme sacrifice for our nation and selflessly laid
01:52down their lives in every war, from the
01:55revolution to the war on terror.
01:58To the Gold Star families with us today, the courage
02:02of your heroes is the bedrock on which our entire
02:06nation stands.
02:08We thank you.
02:09Yes, we thank you.
02:11Today, we commemorate an event that did not just
02:15change American history, but change the history of
02:19the entire world.
02:21With the creation of America's army on June
02:2414th, 1775, liberty got its shield and the freedom
02:31got its sword.
02:33Those first Army patriots in the American
02:35Revolution fought against a fearsome enemy and
02:39impossible odds.
02:40But they were armed with a righteous cause.
02:43They were led by an indomitable commander, a
02:47truly great man, General George Washington, and
02:52they were united by an eternal creed.
02:56Their motto is victory or death.
02:59Over the past two and a half centuries, our warriors
03:02have shown unrivaled valor on fields, a battle around
03:06the globe.
03:07With the frostbitten feet and bloody fists, they have
03:11marched into the flames and fury of combat, charged
03:15up mountains, stormed beaches, waded through
03:18torrents of gunfire, and leapt into skies thick
03:22with smoke and shrapnel.
03:25The U.S.
03:26Army has driven bayonets into the heart of sinister
03:29empires, crushed the ambitions of evil tyrants.
03:35Beneath the threads of American tanks, it's done so
03:38well, it's done so much, and sent the devil himself
03:42flying into full retreat.
03:45Time and again, America's enemies have learned that if
03:48you threaten the American people, our soldiers are
03:51coming for you.
03:53Your defeat will be certain.
03:54Your demise will be final.
03:56And your downfall will be total and complete.
04:00Because our soldiers never give up, never surrender,
04:11and never, ever quit.
04:13They fight, fight, fight, and they win, win, win.
04:16And that's why no institution in history has entered
04:25more names into the roster of American heroes than
04:29the U.S.
04:30Army, the Congressional Medal of Honor, more than
04:34anyone or anything.
04:36There was mad Anthony Wayne asked by George
04:40Washington to lead a daring midnight raid up the
04:43cliffs of Stony Point with unloaded muskets and
04:47only their bayonets to fight the redcoats.
04:51Mad Anthony replied, issue the order, sir.
04:54And I will storm into hell for you.
04:57Then there was the Civil War General, John
05:05Corse, shot in the face in combat.
05:10He fired off a message to his commander.
05:12I am short a cheekbone and one ear, but I am able
05:17to whip the hell out of all of them.
05:20He stayed on the front lines, it seemed, forever.
05:24In World War II, there was the great Creighton
05:27Abrams, besieged on all sides by the Nazis at the
05:32Battle of the Bulge.
05:34He boldly proclaimed, they've got us surrounded
05:37again, the poor bastards.
05:40This is the fighting spirit and unyielding force of
05:44the U.S. Army.
05:46It has never changed, and it will never, ever change,
05:50because there is no earthly force more powerful than
05:54the brave heart of a U.S.
05:57infantryman or an army ranger, paratrooper, or
06:01Green Beret.
06:02They are the best, they are the finest.
06:04From Bunker Hill to San Juan Hill, from Gettysburg to
06:09Guadalcanal, from Yorktown to Shiloh, and from the
06:13trenches of the Argonne to the mountains of Afghanistan,
06:18the Army has forged a legacy of unmatched courage,
06:22untold sacrifice, and unequaled and undying glory.
06:27Our soldiers have poured out their blood by the bucket
06:31full on Missionary Ridge and Heartbreak Ridge, on the
06:36sands of Sicily, Normandy and the Philippines, and on
06:40the dusty streets of Da Nang, Baghdad, and Fallujah.
06:46Thanks to their extraordinary service and
06:48devotion, 250 years later, America stands tall,
06:53America stands proud, and America stands free.
06:58We're the hottest country in the world right now, and
07:01our country will soon be greater and stronger than
07:04ever before.
07:07Down through history, we've been blessed beyond words
07:10by this valiant legion of Army warriors and patriots,
07:13heroes and legends.
07:15And tonight, we affirm with unwavering certainty that
07:19in the years ahead, and in every generation hence,
07:23whenever duty calls and whatever danger comes, the
07:27American soldier will be there.
07:34No matter the risk, no matter the obstacles, our
07:39warriors will charge into battle.
07:42They will plunge into the crucible of fire, and they
07:46will seize the crown of victory.
07:48Because the United States of America will always have
07:52the grace of Almighty God and the iron will of the
07:55United States Army.
07:58Congratulations to everybody.
08:00We love our country.
08:01We've never done better.
08:04God bless you.
08:05God bless the Army.
08:06And God bless America.
08:08And now I'd like to ask our great First Lady to join
08:18me at the podium.
08:19Thank you very much, everybody.
08:20Thank you very much.
