हर साल 21 जून को अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस मनाया जाता है. 2025 में इसका 11वां संस्करण है, जिसकी थीम है – "एक पृथ्वी, एक स्वास्थ्य के लिए योग". यह दिन ग्रीष्म संक्रांति के कारण चुना गया, जो साल का सबसे लंबा दिन होता है और ऊर्जा व संतुलन का प्रतीक है. योग दिवस की पहल प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने की थी, जिसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने 2014 में स्वीकार किया. योग केवल शारीरिक अभ्यास नहीं, बल्कि एक समग्र जीवनशैली है जो शरीर, मन और प्रकृति के बीच संतुलन स्थापित करता है. इसका उद्देश्य विश्व को स्वास्थ्य और शांति की ओर ले जाना है

00:36And in a way, it is absolutely the right day to do yoga
00:40because on one international day of yoga,
00:43we had yoga starting with the first country
00:46where the sunrise happens in the east
00:48and ending with the last country where the sun sets.
00:53You know, the yoga global ring, we had called it.
00:56So I think it was a date very well chosen
00:59when Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji
01:02made this proposal at the UN headquarters in New York.

01:1821 June ki tariq, Yogik parampara mein bhi khas maani jati hai.
01:23Antarashriya Yog-Divas ka mbaksad,
01:24yoga abhyas ke fayadhoon ke baare mein jaab rukta badaana hai.
01:28Janakaro ka maanna hai ki maanav shariir
01:30prakriti ke saath ek hai
01:32aur yoga abhyas sabhi ko sehatmandh rakhne mein
01:35madadgaar saabit ho sakta hai.
01:37In yoga, we are totally tuned with the atmosphere.
01:44Quite a lot of things are named under natural things.
01:48Like we talk about mountain, mountain pole,
01:51we talk about animals, birds,
01:53all these things, river,
01:56varieties of asana names, pranayama names,
02:02are on these things.
02:04We continuously try to say that we are,
02:06we should be tuned with the world,
02:10with outside world.
02:12Outside world is contributing for our own health.
02:16We are breathing, fresh air is there,
02:20so we breathe and because we are breathing,
02:22we get energy, pran, life,
02:25which is a life-sustaining force.
02:27We are drinking water,
02:29we have to become aware about water.
02:32We try to see that water should remain clean,
02:35water should be respected,
02:38water should be taken with great reverence,
02:41not just wasted.
02:42Yogic, pranachin, shariirik,
02:46manasik and adhyatmik abhyaas hai.

02:49sadiyo pahle,
02:50bharat me hoi mani jati hai.
02:52Yogishabd,
02:53Sanskrit se aaya hai,
02:54aur iska matlab hai,
02:55judna,
02:56ya,
02:56ek jut ho na.
02:57Ye shariir or chetna ke milan ka,
02:59pratik hai.
