00:03:48The words of the blessing of Enoch, with which he blessed the righteous and the chosen

00:03:54who shall live in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and the ungodly shall be removed.

00:04:02Enoch, a righteous man, whose mouth was opened by God,

00:04:06beheld the vision of the Holy One and of the heavens.

00:04:11This is what he saw.

00:04:12I saw a vision for the generations to come, not for this generation, but for a distant future.

00:04:18Concerning the elect, I spoke.

00:04:21And for them, I wrote,

00:04:23The Holy and Great One shall come forth from the heavens.

00:04:26He shall tread upon Mount Sinai and be revealed in his camp,

00:04:31and shall appear in his mighty power from the heavens.

00:04:34He shall come with ten thousand of his saints to execute judgment upon all,

00:04:40to destroy the wicked, and to convict all flesh of all the impious deeds

00:04:45which sinners and the ungodly have committed against him.

00:04:50All who dwell upon the earth shall awaken, but the righteous shall live, and the wicked shall be destroyed.

00:04:59Then there shall be peace, and the righteous shall walk in paths of justice,

00:05:05and the Lord shall be their guide, and they shall have eternal light.

00:05:10Look upon all that happens in the heavens,

00:05:19how the luminaries in the sky do not stray from their paths,

00:05:24how each one rises and sets in order according to its seasons,

00:05:28and does not deviate from what God has commanded.

00:05:33See the earth and pay attention to all that takes place upon it,

00:05:39from the beginning to the end,

00:05:41how nothing upon it changes, and all obeys God.

00:05:47Observe the signs in the heavens,

00:05:49how all the stars appear in their appointed time,

00:05:52and how the sun and the moon follow their perfect courses,

00:05:59They do not alter their orbits,

00:06:02and all works together in obedience to God.

00:06:07But you, men, have disobeyed.

00:06:10You have not followed the ways of the Lord,

00:06:13and your wickedness has exceeded all limits.

00:06:17The watchers, too, the angels sent to guide you,

00:06:21strayed from their mission and corrupted their ways.

00:06:24Therefore, the wicked face judgment and the punishment will be great.

00:06:31Observe how each tree bears fruit in its season,

00:06:35how the rivers flow in their course,

00:06:37how the sea remains within its boundaries.

00:06:41All creation follows the laws of the Most High,

00:06:44yet men and fallen angels have not respected His commandments.

00:06:50Judgment will come upon all who have sinned,

00:06:52and upon those who have followed the ways of injustice.

00:06:56The righteous, however, shall be rewarded,

00:07:31The Fall of the Watchers and the Rise of the Nephilim

00:07:35In those days,

00:07:42when the sons of men multiplied,

00:07:45beautiful and comely daughters were born unto them,

00:07:50the angels,

00:07:51the sons of heaven,

00:07:54saw them and desired them.

00:07:56And they said to one another,

00:08:01let us choose wives from among the daughters of men,

00:15:05for they will not have long lives.

00:15:13and that each of them would live for five hundred years.

00:15:19Go and announce to Semjaza and his associates

00:15:35in the valleys of the earth

00:16:00Destroy all injustice from the face of the earth,

00:16:03and let all evil work come to an end,

00:16:18And then all the righteous will escape,

00:16:20and they will live until they beget thousands of children,

00:16:30Then the whole earth will be cultivated in righteousness,

00:16:33and it will be planted with trees

00:16:35and filled with blessing.

00:16:36And all the trees of the earth will yield fruit,

00:16:40and there will be vineyards in abundance,

00:16:42and every seed that is sown

00:16:44will produce a thousand times more,

00:16:47and a measure of olive will produce ten presses of oil.

00:16:51And cleanse the earth of all oppression,

00:16:54of all injustice,

00:16:56of all sin,

00:16:57of all impiety,

00:16:58and of all contamination that is being done upon it.

00:17:02Destroy from the earth

00:17:03all the children of men,

00:17:05and all the impious things,

00:17:07and let all evil work come to an end.

00:17:11And now, my children,

00:17:13speak of righteousness and walk in it,

00:17:15for in the paths of righteousness

00:17:17you shall be planted forever.

00:17:19chapter 4

00:17:28Enoch as Mediator

00:17:30and the Judgment of the Watchers

00:17:33In those days I was taken from among the children of men,

00:17:38and the angels called me

00:17:40and led me to a remote place.

00:17:42They said,

00:17:43Enoch, you, scribe of righteousness,

00:17:48go and speak with the Watchers of Heaven,

00:17:50who have abandoned the heavenly heights

00:17:52and defiled themselves with women,

00:17:54behaving like the sons of men.

00:17:57They have taken wives for themselves

00:17:59and have corrupted the earth.

00:18:02Tell them,

00:18:03there will be no peace for you,

00:18:05nor forgiveness of sins.

00:18:08So I went and spoke with them.

00:18:09They were gathered in the place called Abel-Main,

00:18:13which is between Lebanon and Senir,

00:18:16covering their faces in shame.

00:18:19I told them all the words of righteousness

00:18:21that had been given to me,

00:18:23and they began to tremble with fear.

00:18:26They pleaded with me to write a petition for them

00:18:28so they could ask for forgiveness

00:18:32before the Most High in Heaven,

00:18:34for they could no longer approach Him

00:18:37nor lift their eyes to Heaven

00:18:49I ascended and reached the waters

00:18:51of the heavenly region.

00:18:54There I saw the gates of Heaven open

00:18:56and entered the place

00:18:58where the throne of God was.

00:19:01I fell on my face

00:19:03and spoke before the Most High,

00:19:06delivering the petition

00:19:08the Watchers had asked me to present.

00:19:11But the Most High responded, saying,

00:19:14Go and tell the Watchers of Heaven

00:19:17who sent you with this message.

00:19:19You were once holy and spiritual,

00:19:22living eternal life,

00:19:23but you defiled yourselves with women

00:19:26like the sons of men

00:19:28and fathered children of flesh and blood.

00:19:31Because of this,

00:19:32you have brought great wickedness upon the earth.

00:19:36You were never given permission

00:19:37to reveal the secrets of Heaven

00:19:40nor to teach such things to the sons of men.

00:19:44Yet you did so.

00:19:46As a result,

00:19:47they have learned things

00:19:48they were never meant to know.

00:19:50And now they are corrupted.

00:19:55The Most High continued,

00:19:58You the Watchers will have no peace.

00:20:01There will be no forgiveness for your sins.

00:20:03You will be condemned forever.

00:20:05As for your children,

00:20:07the Nephilim,

00:20:08who were born from your union with women,

00:20:10they will be destroyed.

00:20:12For they have brought chaos

00:20:13and bloodshed upon the earth.

00:27:12what is this place?

00:27:15They replied,

00:27:16This is Sheol,

00:27:18where the spirits of men

00:27:19await the day of judgment.

00:27:21The righteous are at peace,

00:27:24but the sinners suffer

00:27:26in anticipation

00:27:27of the judgment to come.

00:27:29On the day of the final judgment,

00:27:32they will be cast

00:27:33into the eternal fire.

00:27:34After that,

00:27:37I was taken to a place

00:27:39of burning fire

00:27:40that never went out.

00:27:42It was filled with pillars of fire

00:27:45that moved without ceasing.

00:27:48I asked,

00:27:49What is this terrifying place?

00:27:55This is the place reserved

00:27:57for rebellious spirits

00:28:34On the sacred mountain,

00:28:35I saw a massive tree,

00:28:37its fruit more beautiful

00:28:38than any other.

00:28:39I asked,

00:28:40What is this wondrous tree?

00:28:43The angels replied,

00:28:46This is the tree of life.

00:28:49On the day of restoration,

00:28:51this tree will be given

00:28:52to the righteous

00:28:53who will eat its fruit

00:28:54and live forever.

00:28:57Then they showed me

00:28:59a valley full of rocks

00:29:00and fire.

00:29:02This valley,

00:29:03the angels said,

00:29:04was the place

00:29:05where the kings

00:29:05and the mighty

00:29:06who had oppressed

00:29:08the righteous

00:29:08would be judged

00:29:10and destroyed.

00:29:12I was taken

00:29:13to different places

00:29:14on earth

00:29:14where I saw

00:29:16the treasures

00:29:16of creation.

00:29:18I saw mountains

00:29:19of gold,

00:29:20silver,

00:29:21and precious stones,

00:29:22and I also saw rivers

00:29:24and gardens

00:29:25filled with life.

00:29:27The angels said,

00:29:29All this was created

00:29:32for mankind to enjoy,

00:29:33but many have used it

00:29:34for evil.

00:29:35On the day of judgment,

00:29:37these things will be restored

00:29:39to the righteous.

00:29:39Then I was taken

00:29:43to the heavens

00:29:43to observe the stars,

00:29:45the sun,

00:29:46and the moon.

00:29:48I saw

00:29:49how all the celestial bodies

00:29:50followed a perfect course

00:29:52obeying the laws of God.

00:29:54The angels said to me,

00:29:57Just as the stars

00:29:59obey God,

00:30:00so too must mankind.

00:30:02But the wicked

00:30:03have disobeyed,

00:30:04and for this

00:30:05they will face judgment.

00:30:06Finally,

00:30:08the angels took me back

00:30:10to the sacred mountain,

00:30:11where the Most High

00:30:12spoke to me directly.

00:30:14He said,

00:30:16Enoch,

00:30:17write down everything

00:30:18you have seen and heard,

00:30:21for these words

00:30:21are for future generations.

00:30:23The righteous

00:30:24will live in peace

01:09:56I saw the rise

01:09:58of sin among men

01:09:59and the coming

01:10:00of the flood

01:10:01which purified the earth.

01:10:03In the third week,

01:10:04I saw Abraham

01:10:05and his lineage,

01:10:07who were chosen

01:10:08by the Most High

01:10:09to be a holy people.

01:10:11In the fourth week,

01:10:13I saw how the Most High

01:10:15gave His law

01:10:16to Moses

01:10:17so that men

01:10:18might walk

01:10:19in righteousness.

01:10:20In the fifth week,

01:10:21I saw the kings

01:10:23and prophets

01:10:23who would guide Israel.

01:10:25In the sixth week,

01:10:27I saw the corruption

01:10:28of God's people

01:10:29and their exile

01:10:30among the nations.

01:10:32In the seventh week,

01:10:33I saw the Messiah,

01:10:35the Savior,

01:10:36who would bring redemption

01:10:37to the righteous

01:10:38and destroy the power

01:10:40of sin.

01:10:42In the eighth week,

01:10:44I saw how righteousness

01:10:45flourished on earth

01:10:47and the righteous

01:10:48inherited the kingdom

01:10:49of the Most High.

01:10:51In the ninth week,

01:10:52I saw the judgment

01:10:53of sinners

01:10:54and the eradication

01:10:55of all evil.

01:10:57In the tenth week,

01:10:58I saw a new heaven

01:11:00and a new earth

01:11:02where the righteous

01:11:03lived in eternal peace

01:11:05and the Lord of Spirits

01:11:07reigned over all creation.

01:11:11These weeks

01:11:12are a testimony

01:11:13to the justice

01:11:14of the Most High

01:11:15and His plan

01:11:17for humanity.

01:11:19Know that all

01:11:20that has been promised

01:11:21will be fulfilled.

01:11:24The joy of the righteous

01:11:26and the lament

01:11:27of the sinners.

01:11:29In my visions,

01:11:30I saw how the righteous

01:11:32praised the Most High,

01:11:34saying,

01:11:34Blessed be the Lord

01:11:36of Spirits

01:11:37who has given us

01:11:38eternal life

01:11:39and delivered us

01:11:40from evil.

01:11:42His judgments are just

01:11:44and His mercy

01:11:45is everlasting.

01:11:47But I also saw

01:11:48how the sinners

01:11:48cried out

01:11:49in desperation.

01:11:51Why did we not listen

01:11:52to the words of warning?

01:11:54Why did we follow

01:11:55our own ways?

01:11:56Now we are in darkness

01:11:58and there is no hope

01:11:59for us.

01:12:01My brothers,

01:12:02I write these words.

01:12:04so that you

01:12:05and future generations

01:12:07may know

01:12:07that the Lord of Spirits

01:12:09is just and true.

01:12:12Walk in His ways

01:12:13and you will find peace

01:12:15in the eternal kingdom.

01:12:16but if you turn away

01:12:18from His law,

01:12:20your destiny

01:12:21will be the abyss.

01:12:25Know that the judgment

01:12:27of the Most High

01:12:28is imminent.

01:12:30The righteous will shine

01:12:32like the stars

01:12:33and the sinners

01:12:35will be erased

01:12:36from creation.

01:12:37Let these words serve

01:12:39as both warning

01:12:40and hope

01:12:41for the Lord of Spirits

01:12:44reigns over all creation

01:12:46and His kingdom

01:12:47shall have no end.

01:12:49and we will find peace

01:12:51and be with you.

01:12:54Enoch's Last Revelations

01:12:57And Farewell

01:12:58I, Enoch,

01:13:01saw how my son

01:13:02Methuselah approached me

01:13:03with great concern

01:13:04and said,

01:13:05Father,

01:13:06a son has been born

01:13:07to my son Lamech,

01:13:09but this child

01:13:10is not like the others.

01:13:12His flesh

01:13:12is white as snow

01:13:14and red like the flower of a rose.

01:13:18His hair is white as wool

01:13:20and his eyes shine like the rays of the sun.

01:13:24When he opens his eyes,

01:13:26he illuminates the entire house

01:13:28like the light of day.

01:13:30Father, this child does not seem human.

01:13:34He appears to be a descendant of the angels of heaven.

01:13:37What does this mean?

01:13:39What should I do?

01:13:40When I heard these words,

01:13:44my heart trembled,

01:13:46for I understood that the birth of this child

01:13:49was a sign of what was to come.

01:13:51So I went in prayer to the Lord of Spirits

01:13:54and asked him to reveal the meaning of this event.

01:13:58The Lord answered me and said,

01:14:01This child, Noah,

01:14:04will be the righteous man

01:14:05who will save humanity from the coming judgment.

01:14:08I have decided to send a great flood upon the earth

01:14:12to purify it from all corruption.

01:14:15But through Noah and his descendants,

01:14:18the earth will be restored.

01:14:20He will be preserved

01:14:21along with the righteous who are with him

01:14:23while the wicked will be destroyed.

01:14:27When I received this answer,

01:14:29I returned to Methuselah and said,

01:14:31This child is special,

01:14:33for the Lord of Spirits has chosen him

01:14:35for a great mission.

01:14:36Take care of him,

01:14:38for he will be the savior of future generations.

01:14:43In my final visions,

01:14:45I saw the fate of the sinners,

01:14:48and my heart was filled with sorrow.

01:14:51I saw how the wicked were taken

01:14:53to a place of eternal darkness,

01:14:55where the fire burned unceasingly.

01:14:58There was no rest or comfort,

01:15:00but only lamentation and despair.

01:15:04They cried out, saying,

01:15:06Why did we not listen to the words of warning?

01:15:09Why did we follow our own desires

01:15:11and disobey the Most High?

01:15:13Then the Lord of Spirits said to me,

01:15:15Enoch, write these things as a warning

01:15:19for future generations.

01:15:21Let men know that there is no hope

01:15:23for those who rebel against me.

01:15:25Their riches will not save them,

01:15:28and their power will not deliver them

01:15:30from judgment.

01:15:31They will be forgotten,

01:15:32and their memory will be erased

01:15:35from creation.

01:15:36I also saw how the fallen angels,

01:15:41along with their offspring,

01:15:43the Nephilim,

01:15:44were judged and condemned to the abyss.

01:15:48They were bound and cast into the eternal fire,

01:15:53where they will remain for all eternity.

01:15:57Such will be the fate of all

01:15:59who disobey the Lord of Spirits.

01:16:03Let these words serve as a reminder

01:16:05for men to walk in righteousness

01:16:07and avoid the path of sinners.

01:16:11In contrast, I saw the fate of the righteous,

01:16:15and my heart was filled with joy.

01:16:19I saw how they were taken

01:16:21to a place of light and peace,

01:16:23where they dwelled in the presence

01:16:25of the Lord of Spirits.

01:16:27There, there was no more pain or suffering,

01:16:32only eternal joy.

01:16:35The righteous shone like the stars of the heavens,

01:16:39and their light illuminated all of creation.

01:16:44The Most High walked among them,

01:16:47and His glory filled the entire place.

01:16:50They received their eternal inheritance,

01:16:54and lived in perfect communion with God.

01:16:59Then the Lord said to me,

01:17:01Enoch, write these blessings for the righteous,

01:17:04so they may know that their faith will not be in vain.

01:17:08Though they may suffer in this world,

01:17:10their reward will be great in the eternal kingdom.

01:17:13I am their refuge and strength,

01:17:16and I will not abandon them.

01:17:18After receiving all these visions,

01:17:23I knew that my time on earth was coming to an end.

01:17:28I called my children and said to them,

01:17:31My children,

01:17:34these are the words that the Lord of Spirits has entrusted to me.

01:17:39Keep them in your hearts,

01:17:40and teach them to your future generations.

01:17:43Walk in righteousness and truth,

01:17:45and avoid the paths of sinners,

01:17:47so that you may find peace in the kingdom of the Most High.

01:17:51Then the Lord of Spirits called me,

01:17:55and I was taken to heaven by the angels.

01:17:59I saw the earth fade away beneath me,

01:18:02as I was carried to the place

01:18:04where the Most High dwells in eternal glory.

01:18:08There I was given a place among the righteous,

01:18:12and my spirit rested in peace.

01:18:21These are the words of Enoch,

01:18:24written for future generations.

01:18:27Let all men know that the Lord of Spirits is just and true.

01:18:32His judgments are eternal,

01:18:34and no one will escape His justice.

01:18:37Walk in His ways,

01:18:39and you will find eternal life.

01:18:41But if you rebel against Him,

01:18:43your destiny will be the abyss.

01:18:48Closing of the Book of Enoch

01:18:50Thus ends the account of the righteous Enoch,

01:18:57who was taken to heaven

01:18:58to witness the mysteries of the Most High.

01:19:02His words stand as a testimony for all humanity,

01:19:06a warning for sinners,

01:19:08and a hope for the righteous.

01:19:11Let all men hear and keep these words,

01:19:14for the judgment of the Lord of Spirits

01:19:16is just and true.
