00:00including in Scotland. David Chadwick. Thank you Madam Deputy Speaker. I hope the
00:05Minister appreciates just how insulting it is for Welsh ears to be told that
00:10we're getting a fair deal when it comes to railway funding, when we know that
00:13we've been cheated out of billions of pounds due to the classification of
00:18several projects as England-Wales projects. Wales here is only getting
00:23five railway stations between Newport and Cardiff. That's hardly national
00:29renewal, is it? So will he bet on Wales and commit to projects outside of that
00:37belt across Mid-Wales and West Wales or the electrification of the North and
00:42South lines? Chief Secretary. There's a key difference Madam Deputy Speaker. Under the
00:47last government you can get a penny. Under this Labour government working with
00:50the Labour government in Wales. Not only have you got the largest real terms
00:54increase in spending in Wales since devolution began, you've got £455 million
00:58for rail infrastructure, nearly £130 million for coal-tip safety and many many
01:03other things. This is the benefit of two Labour governments working together to
01:06deliver for the people of Wales and you might want to be a little bit more
01:08grateful in future.
