Seventeen year old Arthur Holland is charged with the murder of his twenty six year old step-mother. Mrs. Holland died after consuming poisonous mushrooms which had been offered to her by him. Jeremy Child (A Fish Called Wanda, Sapphire & Steel) plays the prosecuting counsel. TP McKenna plays the defence counsel. John Ringham plays the defendant's father. Both McKenna and Ringham played roles in Doctor Who as well as numerous other TV shows. Watch out also for Hugh Fraser, here playing Dr Reeve, but perhaps better known for playing Hastings to David Suchet's Poirot.
