00:00In an interview with Euronews, Ali Bahraini, Iran's ambassador and permanent representative
00:08to the United Nations in Geneva, said Europe is partly to blame for intensifying hostilities
00:14between Israel and Iran because its leaders have failed to condemn Israel's aggression.
00:20It comes a day before the foreign ministers of France, Germany and the UK meet with their
00:25Iranian counterpart in Geneva to discuss Iran's nuclear program.
00:29First of all, we will explain for E3 about the failures they have had and the shortcomings
00:38that they have had which has resulted to this situation. Because Europe did not try to stop
00:47Israel from committing such a crime, and because Europe sometimes, and some of them unfortunately
00:54are justifying the aggression committed by Israel. The impunity which has been given to Israel
01:01is something which encourages that entity to continue committing new crimes, and this impunity
01:10is because of inaction by Europeans, by United States, and by Security Council.
01:17Bahraini also warned that Iran would respond directly to the US if it becomes involved,
01:23and did not rule out strikes on the country.
01:28It's quite clear for us that the United States has been a complicit to what Israel is doing now,
01:34the crime that Israel is committing against Iranian people. If the United States crosses some red
01:44lines, then it will receive the same reaction we gave to Israel. We will very firmly respond to the United
01:52States if it crosses the red lines.
01:55Iran will respond to the United States in the United States?
02:01Our military forces are monitoring the situation. It is their domain to decide how to react. And they know
02:11where the United States should be attacked.
02:15Bahraini told Euronews that there is still a window for diplomacy to reach a new nuclear deal, but first the fighting with Israel has to stop.
02:25Bahraini told Euronews that there isn't a job and easy to justify.
