00:29Everybody looks extraordinary. If you said to me, is there a particular fashion?
00:34I mean, I think anything goes. I've seen anything from little small hats, like little fascinators, to really big hats.
00:41And of course, there's ones which are ten foot tall with 500 ostrich feathers on as well.
00:46But I think it's a variety that I'm likely to see. And actually, the return, really, of proper hats.
00:52There have been, you know, things which are slightly mistaken for the hats, but it's extraordinary. And lots of colour as well.

01:34So whether you're here or in Paris or in Dubai or Melbourne or the Kentucky Derby, that's why hats and racing go together.
01:43And largely because of the royal family and late Queen Elizabeth, millinery really became part of and a symbol of racing.
01:54So it's very important. And I know that Queen Camilla believes in the same thing, which is why she always wears a beautiful hat from Philip Tracy.

03:45this is my first time wearing a big fluffy hat like this so it's really lovely to wear it
03:50it's really hot so it's giving me a bit of protection from the heat as well
