Gandhinagar (Gujarat), June 19, 2025 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini met the family members of former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar on June 19. Rupani was among the 241 who died when the London-bound Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed shortly after take-off on June 12. “This was a very unfortunate incident. It was unimaginable...Vijay led a simple life. He was working as the party's in charge for Punjab. We were in constant communication and always met each other. Covering the journey from being a worker to this (former CM) was the life of Vijay ji. I pray to God for his soul and for all others who died in this incident (Air India plane crash), I pay my tribute to them. May they rest in peace. I pray to God to help the bereaved families and friends in bearing this loss,” said Nayab Saini.
