10:34In the span of 24 hours, Dean Malenko, Perry Sattern, Chris Penois, and Eddie Guerrero
10:49found themselves without a home, without a contract, without a job.
10:54On SmackDown, Triple H gave the four men a 24-hour pass, an opportunity to earn spots
11:01in the World Wrestling Federation.
11:02After Dean Malenko lost a hard-fought battle to Xbox, a tag-team contest with the New Age
11:08Outlaws, arguably the greatest tag team in WWF history, against Perry Sattern and Eddie
11:13Guerrero, ended in tragedy for one of the four.
11:18And Christian working on Funaki here in what should be an entertaining matchup on Heat.
11:24Eddie Guerrero attempted the Frog Splash.
11:26It looked as if the New Age Outlaws were seconds away from being upset, and the score was
11:32to be even, one-to-one.
11:34But instead, Eddie suffered a dislocated elbow, a tragic incident, and he's going to be injured
11:40for quite some time.
11:41And Kevin, if there is any doubt that Triple H is truly the game, well, that was all settled
11:46yesterday on SmackDown.
11:47Yeah, Triple H contested Chris Benoit in a battle of arguably two of the finest superstars
11:54to ever enter the squared circle.
11:56Oh, face first to the back.
11:58And Christian, wait a minute, cover here on Funaki.
12:00There's one, there's two, and a kickout by Funaki.
12:03Triple H went into that contest really with nothing to gain, everything to lose.
12:08Chris Benoit, they had already seen their hopes dashed of competing here in the World Wrestling
12:12Federation.
12:13An easy opportunity, I would think, for Chris Benoit to score a victory over what could
12:18have been a very unmotivated Triple H.

12:55It would be, I guess, akin to Roy Keane leaving the Manchester United to go to Italy, but without

13:07You've got to respect their moxie.
13:09But indeed, when all is said and done, they leave here empty-handed.

13:30Found out yesterday on SmackDown that the Big Show has finally earned his opportunity to
13:35go one-on-one with The Rock.
13:36Here's a cover by Funaki and kicked out by Christian.
13:39The winner of that contest will, of course, go to Wrestlemania 2000 to take on the WWF
13:45champion.
13:45That Big Show, The Rock contest, about three weeks away here in the World Wrestling Federation.
13:49And it's going to be very interesting to see what's going to happen when those two men
13:53meet.
13:53The Big Show, after all the promo and he's done, had better come through with the victory,
13:57or those words will simply be just that.

14:37a two-on-one with the Dudley boys.

33:54I know it's been an emotional time for Matt and Jeff Hardy.

34:05But the Hardy Boys have been extremely focused as of late after that injury.
34:09I would say that what happened to Terry was really an emotional crossroads for the entire unit.
34:14Like you say, Terry, of course, is beset by horrifying nightmares of that time and who can blame her.
34:20The Hardy Boys seem to have drawn strength from it and gained focus and are now really going after the Dudley Boys as well.
34:27But sociopaths like the Dudley Boys know no boundaries.
34:30You know, this should be a great tag team matchup.
34:33You've got the Headbangers, the Veterans, tremendous tag team, double teaming ability,
34:36and the high-flying, acrobatic Hardy Boys, Jeff and Matt.
34:40Let's not forget both teams are former WWF tag team champions,
34:44and each would love a shot at the New Age Outlook.
34:46The Hardy Boys, earlier on, we saw two cool, two of the up-and-coming tag teams here in the World Wrestling Federation.
34:52Both those teams, I think, destined down the road to become tag team champions.
34:56And I know that the Headbangers would love to get back on top.
35:00It's been a rough year, let's say, the past 12 months for the Headbangers.
35:04But a win here on Pete against the Hardy Boys will get the Headbangers right back on the right hand.
