00:00Hi
00:23You see here
00:26Like a few
00:30Oh my gosh. Hello. You must be the new guy. Hi there. Come. I'm Barbie. Nice to meet you.
00:45Sorry, I'm whispering. We had a full-on party yesterday because our gig went on holiday and we had the whole room to ourselves and I kind of blew my vocal cords and karaoke and yeah, while it was couples karaoke, duh, me and Ken, we totally rolled that. There's no question about it.
01:15Oh yeah. Oh my gosh. I've been meaning to come and see you but you're always on the top shelf. Welcome to the floor. It's not so bad down here once you get used to it. I used to be on the top shelf too but then that was just during the first week that they had me and it was just because I was brand new and they didn't want to
01:45touch me or, you know, my new giant car thing which the dog destroyed but that's for another day.
01:57After a while, they get used to it and then they want to take you off the shelf and play with you so yeah, it's so nice to finally meet you.
02:09Oh, great. Oh, did you like kind of scuff yourself falling off of the shelf? That can happen for the first couple of times. Um, oh, do you need me to help you? Like kind of get yourself situated and looking good again?
02:31Well, yeah. Well, yeah. Well, the thing is, they're at school, right? So, you're fine for a few hours but as soon as they come back and you know that kid is so, yeah, kind of crazy. Yeah.
02:47They'll definitely be able to pick out a couple of scuff marks and yeah. Okay, good. I can totally help you. Sure. I am a professional everything basically. So, I can definitely help you.
03:10What is it? What do you mean you feel kind of left out? Oh, you shouldn't feel that way. No, no. Our kid is so nice and just the sweetest.
03:28But the thing is, they do end up getting lots of new toys especially around Christmas time, their birthday, um, anytime they get an A. So, yeah, we tend to get left out a bunch.
03:46But the thing is, you make great friends even amongst us, the toys. So, it's gonna be just fine. At the end of the day, we're all just one big family and if one of us gets played with more than someone else, we're not jealous.
04:05Yeah, of course. Plus, we have the entire day to just sit around and gossip and just kind of get to know one another and you'll find that we're all very, very nice.
04:23Yeah, I'm sure you're gonna make lots of really fast friends. Okay, don't worry.
04:30Okay, let me just very quickly kind of find a good match for that little scuff there. You have such a pretty color. What kind of fur is that?
04:46Ooh, that's cotton. Not even a polyester blend. That is definitely quality. You must have cost a fortune.
04:55Here, let me just quickly tip-tap. There we go. No worries, no worries. So, um, what story did you come from?
05:14I'm from Toys R Us, but granted, that was a while back.
05:20Okay. You should never ask a lady their age, okay? So, um, I'm just joking you.
05:36There we go.
05:39I'll just kind of blend that out a little bit more, okay?
05:42So, yeah, yeah, definitely. Oh, I know that place. Really great. Great aisles there. Yeah, definitely.
05:55Really nice customer service as well. Yeah.
05:59I've heard good things.
06:01Oh, yeah, roll-a-bye Tizzy Bear. She comes from there, and she's told me that that place is just immaculate.
06:15Sure, I'll introduce you sometime.
06:19You probably know the same kind of toys, and yeah.
06:24That's great.
06:25Okay, let's see.
06:32Here, just a little bit. Hold on.
06:35Oh.
06:37Let me fix that for you.
06:39Just a little.
06:43Okay, good.
06:47Hold on.
06:49Oh.
06:50Oh, you just, oh, you want to be played with more?
06:58Oh, okay.
06:59Um, you want some advice for how to grab our kids' attention?
07:04Is that it?
07:05Okay, sure.
07:07Well, um, what you can do, you can look really, really fun.
07:14Yeah, just when you're posed, you don't want to overly change your poses, or else someone's
07:28going to find out, or just kind of start getting freaked out and not want to touch you at all.
07:33We had an incident with a possessed doll.
07:35Possessed.
07:36Um, she's locked up in the attic now, but she changed her poses a bit too dramatically than
07:44how our kid left her, and from that day on, they just kind of assumed she was possessed,
07:52so now she's in the attic, and we never see her, ever.
07:55So, yeah.
07:56Um, what you want to do is, say you're posed like, like this, right, on the, on the shelf.
08:06Maybe just kind of, like with an outstretched hand, that would make our kid look at you a
08:15little bit more, just because there's something a little bit off, but not too much.
08:20You don't want to just, yeah, yeah.
08:22So, just kind of move your hands a little bit, just kind of, yes, just like that, great.
08:30That will catch their attention and kind of make them want to play with you a little bit more.
08:36Yeah.
08:37Okay.
08:39Um, advice, advice.
08:41What else can I tell you?
08:42Um, oh, um, every once in a while, um, we all just kind of get together and free touch,
08:50touch up ourselves, you know, just a little bit.
08:54You're not really supposed to, but no one's going to tell here.
08:58Plus, our kid is super, super neat.
09:00As you can see, they don't scribble or cut our hair, which is great, because, you know,
09:07um, so what we like to do is just kind of get together once in a while,
09:13give ourselves little makeovers, give ourselves a nice little cute haircut, you know,
09:19remove dead ends and things like that.
09:22Um, say we've got some gum stuck on the bottom of our shoes, we take the time to take that off
09:29or get rid of any scuff marks, any scratches, things like that.
09:34We really try to maintain our pristineness, that way our kid will like to play with us some more.
09:44Yeah, just kind of look good.
09:48Yes.
09:49Yeah, that's right.
09:51Plus, I find that newer looking toys tend to get donated much less.
09:58Yes, we've had a couple of instances where the mom tries to get us donated.
10:09But don't worry, if you're played with enough, the kid will start to have sentimental feelings towards you
10:16and they won't get rid of you.
10:18So, yeah, I can definitely help you with that.
10:22Okay, since you're new, I'm going to give you a little tip.
10:29Strackly straight hairs are a no-no.
10:31You want to keep that mane kind of nice and groomed.
10:36Fortunately for you, I'm a jack of all treats.
10:42Yes, I actually have many, many, many, many, many, many different jobs.
10:49Yes, I am a zookeeper, I am a makeup artist, I am a tour guide, hello, I am a speed racer,
11:02I am an artist, I am a doctor, and a veterinarian as well.
11:08So, we've got lots of animal toys around us, and I oftentimes take care of him, along with two other Barbies,
11:18but we're not going to get started on them.
11:21Hello, I was the first one here, so, just saying.
11:25I have more experience.
11:28Anyway, fortunately, I'm also a hairstylist.
11:33So, I'm going to very quickly just kind of get rid of these stragglies and make sure that you're nice and brushed out
11:43and make you look really nice and fresh and brand new.
11:47That way, the kid will definitely keep an eye on you.
11:51Okay, I want to play with you some more.
11:54Perfect.
11:55So, let me just quickly brush this out.
11:57Okay.
11:59Don't move.
12:00All right.
12:01There you go.
12:05Sure.
12:09We find that if you're well-kept, then you're just looked at more, and the more you're looked at,
12:20the more, you know, people, everyone in the family, even our kids, siblings.
12:30Yeah.
12:31One sister and two brothers, they tend to actually ask to borrow some toys,
12:37so sometimes you'll be traveling from room to room.
12:41Okay.
12:42Have you experienced that?
12:43No?
12:43You're too new?
12:44Yeah.
12:45Okay.
12:46So, I'm going to have to give you a rundown of the house as well.
12:49Okay?
12:50All right.
12:51Well, sure, I'm a tour guide, too.
12:55So, you know.
12:58Just.
13:00Great.
13:01Making sure you look like as though you came straight out of the box.
13:10Right.
13:10Yeah, this is my favorite part of the room.
13:19Um, I don't really like going underneath the bed.
13:22It's kind of scary.
13:23It's where the socks go, and, uh, a couple of different toys that are evading being donated
13:31at the moment.
13:32So, they go hide under there, and, um, only come out when our kid goes to school.
13:40So, yeah.
13:41Yeah, they're kind of scary ones missing an eye, you know.
13:47We've got a Molly Dolly kind of scary looking, and, um, a super robot that only says, like, three
14:04words.
14:04Yeah, it's kind of creepy, so I tend to avoid that area.
14:13I like going underneath the desk.
14:15We have a really cute, um, like, kind of bar type situation happening on the right side
14:23of, uh, the bedroom near the dresser, so you should come and check it out sometime.
14:28Yeah.
14:29My boyfriend, Ken, he, um, he's such a goof.
14:36He makes the absolute best margaritas.
14:40Uh, uh, yeah.
14:43Yeah.
14:45Um.
14:48Of course, they're real margaritas.
14:51I told you I have to give you a rundown of the house.
14:54I'll tell you how to get to the kitchen, but, yeah, we take things.
14:58You're not supposed to, but it's fine, so it's all good.
15:07Oh, yeah, well, there are a couple of different issues here, definitely.
15:12Um, there's always the thing of who is the better toy.
15:18I personally think there is no one better or worse than someone else, but there's always
15:25that one person who just wants to be number one.
15:29So, yeah, sometimes we have, like, debates and, uh, elections just to keep democracy, uh,
15:37you know, everyone peaceful.
15:39Well, the worst thing that ever happened to me was actually when the kid got their third Barbie
15:52and, uh, there's only one Ken, so, you know, we came as a set Barbie and Ken, so I was like,
16:03you don't want me to cut you, right?
16:05You don't want to get cut.
16:07So, they quickly backed off.
16:12Yeah.
16:12Well, that and also one of the younger siblings, actually, yeah, the kid's younger siblings,
16:21found one of the Barbies and, like, sharpied her hair bright orange, so, now she hardly
16:28ever gets played with, so that's good.
16:30But there's that clone wannabe who is just in my shadows and, you know, watch out for her.
16:37She looks like me.
16:39She steals my clothes.
16:42So, yeah, be careful about that one.
16:45I just, I wouldn't trust her.
16:51Great.
16:52You look absolutely perfect.
16:57Here, let me just very, very, very quickly
16:59put a bit of blush on your cheeks
17:04so you look rosy and glowy, okay?
17:07tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
17:13Tap.
17:18Tap.
17:20Good.
17:21You look amazing.
17:24Brand new.
17:25You look just, oh, we did.
17:28You had a little scuff.
17:32Straight out of the box to die for.
17:36Great.
17:36Okay.
17:37Now, to give you a rundown of the house.
17:41So,
17:42I have my little
17:44pad,
17:47because I'm always equipped.
17:48Okay.
17:48Okay.
17:48Now, to give you a rundown of the house.
17:51So,
17:52I have my little pad,
17:53because I'm always equipped.
