Future Fund's Gary Black set a $310 price target for Tesla ahead of its Robotaxi launch in Austin on June 22nd, according to Benzinga. He cited multiple bullish drivers, including a potential national license for unsupervised autonomy under the Trump administration, a lower-cost model, and licensing opportunities for Full Self-Driving. Black also mentioned Tesla's Optimus robots and Cybercab, both scheduled for 2026. On the downside, he warned of risks like the removal of the $7,500 EV credit, policy changes affecting zero-emission vehicle sales, and Tesla’s high 2025 P/E ratio relative to expected EPS growth. The EV giant is preparing for its Robotaxi launch as it temporarily shuts down its Texas gigafactory and is officially named an AV operator in Austin.
